I was advised that I was in eminent danger of losing my leg because of total blockage and blood clots The initial surgeon advised me that there was no success after my first surgery Dr. Kartis visited me and explained my situation in great detail. He then performed three surgeries each lasting 8 to 10 hours with results that others thought were impossible He even visited me between operations at three o'clock a.m to check my leg His kindness and phenomenal skill has truly saved my life No one is more respected by the staff at Fawcett Hospital The best Physician I have ever met with outstanding communication skills, a caring attitude and a big heart with unrivaled skills. He will be in my prayers forever. He was there for me to fix problems that were truly not fixable by others A truly great surgeon and a tremendous caring person. I am blessed beyond words to have been treated by him.

After taking care of my husband for many years successfully, Dr Kartis took a surgery that was too complicated for him and the end result was he punctured my husbands lung and he eventually died a horrible death struggling. He should have been more cognizant of his limitations and referred to someone more capable. By the time we were able to get to the correct surgeon, it was too late. Doesn’t know when to say “you need to go see someone else”

This is Jill SAUER, wife of the late Roland SAUER. During the months prior to my husband's death, dr Martin really showed genuine concern, compassion and very knowledgeable. I'm a retired nurse and I think dr Martin is pretty close to perfect. My husband really liked doc. His office staff are all amazing people. You can tell it's not about money with doc and staff.

Excellent Surgeon! While others were debating, he was all in with prognosis, procedure, what to expect if we waited etc. and he was right! There every step of the way!

Dr Kartis is the best at what he does. Spoke with one woman in the waiting room while doctor Kartis did a procedure on my brither and she said her cardiac doctor actually consulted with and referred her to him for a procedure. He is so down to earth and spends time explaining everything to you. He is not only the best but he is personable too
