My heart is at peace knowing that she is in good hands. The professionalism kindness and understanding not only for the patient but the family as well. Thank you to the staff members who are taking care of my mother.

The nurses here at Halifax health hospice are absolutely exceptional. They have my utmost respect and appreciation. Thank you so much for all you do. My grandmother was here and they made sure she was comfortable as well as our family.

What shall I say? My Mom entered into this very professional and very caring community for the duration of her life. As someone who operates a similar community I was looking for all the usual red flags. NONE. The community was spot on. It was immaculate clean welcoming warm and the absolute best place for Mom considering the circumstances. The personnel working there were very focused on MOM cared for her and did all they could do to keep her comfortable and without pain. What was in essence Moms last days on this earth was made peaceful and with love and compassion by this wonderful staff at Halifax Hospice. I hope that you will never have to use them....but if you do then I highly recommend them and this wonderful community. Thank you Halifax Hospice in Port Orange.

I can’t even begin to put into words what this hospice facility has done for us and our loved one...they are the most dedicated compassionate and knowledgeable personnel and staff....keeping us and our loved one needs their top priority...to your staff of Case workers nurses CNA’s ministers and workers...for all you’ve done for us will be forever in our hearts...thank you again Hospice of Port Orange....✝️💜

Clean and great people working here

We had the worse experience ever and my dad passed three weeks ago and was told a grief counselor would contact us within a couple of days after my dad passed and we have heard nothing . There was no compassion and less then 24 hours before my dad passed we were told he was not at deaths door and there was no reason to call them and he passed at 130 the next morning . Iam so disappointed in this hospice . They were never here for us and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them when we would call . When my dad fell we called and two hours later nobody showed up and we called back and they said they were too busy and couldn’t get out here right now . I could go on and on but the three months he was on home hospice it was a nightmare . I wish I could give this no stars .

My mother in law passed away today and was under the care of Halifax Hospice. I just want to acknowledge some amazing employees who almost had me convinced that they were a relative of mine by the way they cared for her. .Shout outs to Tim Zelma Daisy Michelle Margie and a few others that I can not think of right now Sorry if I missed you You all are truly compassionate people who almost had me convinced that it was your loved one in the bed instead of mine... Thank you for for being you and for what you do...

Very Lovely and Peaceful

Saw this garden step on piece priced for 24$ with the retail sticker price on the back of 20$ on top of that the retail store had it marked down to 7.99. So i asked if they could come closer to the sticker price on the back and the old lady with glasses who priced 2 chairs in front of me said we just wont sell it then put it in a pile and turned back to what she was doing. How RUDE I was getting it for a lady whose dog the picture on the piece just passed. I put the 5 other items I had down and said that I just wouldnt buy anything. How are you going to let people like that work in youre establishment? I wonder how much money she has deterred away from your store just based on her attitude. Poor poor poor service. Ive always heard the word hospice and cringed. Unfortunately Ive had 2 tragedies in my life I lost both my parents. They both went to hospice. While I was there I experienced the most wonderful care from ALL the staff there. Doctor nurses aids and even kitchen staff was so warming and attentive. My heart is still broken but Im SO thankful for this hospice and all of their loving staff it made the transition for both of my parents smoother then expected and no pain.
