Jeremy Grimes's Online Review Report Card

Forced to give 1 star, would have rather given none. This "doctor" failed to have all information regarding brain and spine scans in front of him during doc appt. We actually had to call and request complete reports that my husband had to research on his own and figure out on his own. My husband may have a very serious brain condition that was not brought to our attention. Totally unacceptable and incompetent! On top of that, the young lady at front desk called my husband a jerk to his face because he didn't arrange for a comparison report. Find another neurologist!

I was sent to a nuero Dr for my broken neck and he said y are you here I said hospital said to follow up with my nuero. Anyways he did nothing

Would Not Recommend: My primary sent me here to see if Dr. Grine could help figure out what is causing my severe fatigue. After a 5 minute conversation he decided that I did not have MS and must be severely depressed. Lol He ignored all the symptoms I told him about, including TIA's and T/2 FLAIRS. Dr Grines said I was only sent there for fatigue and other Drs already saw me for those particular things. (I guess no second opinion). He said that fatigue was not what his specialty was(I would guess that psychology is not either) . I asked why he would say I had severe depression. He said because I'm tired all the time and can not sleep..lol I did mention brain fog so he is sending me to Neurological Psychologist for cognitive testing.. Although I'm quite positive that I'm not severely depressed (as I am enjoying life besides being tired all the time) ...I'm looking forward to the cognitive testing and never returning to his office. I must say the person in the office that greeted me and is making my next appointment for testing was very pleasant and helpful.

I believe he is a great doctor. He knows his stuff and he's worked and studied at UM medical school and UF. They are both teacher schools and only the best doctors come from their. He was able to answer our questions and he didn't have to use the big medical terms most couldn't understand. The staff was very nice. I would go back and recommend this doctor.

The worst!

My wife is a MS patient here and the office staff below average on a good day. Problems with medical refills, bad attitude in communication. My wife has expressed an almost punitive reaction when she missed an appointment. I’d recommend going nearly anywhere else. 4/25 Update for Monday morning. Jennifer, just called my wife. She left a message on the phone saying she didn't like to walk in on Monday morning to smart mouth messages. You can't make this stuff up. She rambled on about how she has done her job with the pharmacy, sent in the right forms, etc. Still no resolution, still horrid patient treatment, still certainly looking for another doctor.

Weird experience from the git go. He wasn't referred to me I picked him because he was close by and took my insurance. I did read reviews posted by patients and should have paid attention. Was told it would be 3- months to get in as a new patient so made that appointment but later in the day received a phone call saying an appointment suddenly became available the next day. Showed up to a small, dark waiting room with no one in sight. The receptionist finally came in and took me "back" to an exam room. There were no other patients, no phones ringing.. it felt creepy. I could hear a man on the phone yucking it up to someone in the room next to me. Glad you played a good round of golf! Turns out it was Dr. Grimes or as another reviewer calls him "Jeremy". Because it's totally normal for a pretty young girl to be referring to her Nuerologist by his first name after just one appointment. Said no one ever. No apologies for the 30- minute wait, he appeared in golf clothes and wore no mask. Leaning back in his chair he proceeded to ask the strangest questions, was a total narcissistic, zero bedside manner jerk. I did notice most reviewers are saying the same thing about him in the last 1-2 years.. somethings changed. Wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy.

I was a patient for almost 7 years. Jennifer is the absolute best. The on-and-off hired back office staff has been horrible; not answering phone, giving messages, blasting music, inability to attach an EEG to patient file, using toilet and not washing hands while left in patient room, inability to fill out forms, lying to patients and stating someone is in the other room and put on hold and disconnected.... The list goes on!!!! I have also noticed a difference in Dr. Grimes bedside manner, compassion and empathy. It greatly saddened me that Dr. Grimes believed these "past"/"fired" employees. I am in the process of finding a new neurologist.

I went to see Jeremy Grimes in March 2018. I’d developed drop foot, muscle spasticity, & it continued to worsen. He of course was the first Neuro I could see. Buyer beware- if they have no wait time & easy openings? They are terrible at what they do. He never did a complete MRI of my spine, otherwise he’d of seen the nasty syrinx in my t-spine. He failed to notice my spinal cord compression of my c-spine. I had surgery a year later. Needed c-5 & c-6 replaced. My arm’s have no strength & I still have drop foot. I’m fully disabled. Jeremy Grimes- referred me to a gynecologist apparently, your vagina causes your spine, to go wacky ??. He didn’t take me seriously, I was a woman. He didn’t believe I had true drop foot. Do not waste your time or your money on this quack.
