I’ve been here a few times and am happy to say I chose her as my primary after moving here a few months back. They always get me in super fast, she listens to me, she’s got a good sense of humor and the staff is absolutely WONDERFUL. I can’t say enough great things about this place.

I love Dr. K primary care. We first met the husband and wife at their prior practice and waited for the opening of their own office to have them as our primary care once more. Their office is caring, kind and genuinely supportive about my care and that of the adults in my family. So happy they are up and running! Congratulations!!!

I have searched high and low for a primary care doctor in the area and have finally found a hidden treasure in DR Samira. She and everyone in the practice actually care about their patients. I have had a few DR's in my life. And I can honestly say DR Samira's practice is one of the best I have ever been to.The whole team radiate empathy and caring for their patients.I am no longer just a number but a patient so wonderfully refreshing. If you are looking for a great primary doctor who actually cares this is the practice for you! highly recommended. The one I had before couldn't have picked me out of a police line-up as his nose was always buried in his laptop. they would charge me just for a phone call to reveal the results of an MRI which I had to initiate because I hadn't heard back in 3 months Dr Pasternak along with AdventHealth offer desperately money oriented experience.where you are just a number. we all want a doctor that cares for us! and this is the place to get that in abundance.

I saw Dr Samira Karakossian on several occasions. The first two I thought she was a competent doctor. Then things changed. When going for testing, she would Never call me back. It would always be her assistant who would always downplay serious test results. Then I became diabetic and she never relayed my results to me. Several months later I went to her for a pre op clearance. She then told me I declined Diabetes medication. We argued and she tried to dismiss me without clearing me for surgery. During surgery it was found that one of my levels was extremely low and I could have had a stroke during surgery. This was complete negligence on her part. Then to find that she had no regard for her patients and closed her practice with no notice. She completely put some patients in jeopardy including me. To this day I have never received my medical records from her office which I requested 3 times. I have since found a wonderful new doctor.

I went to Dr. Samira Karakossian a few years ago for help with health problems that were new and abnormal for me. Once she saw "anxiety/depression" in my medical history, it blinded her to my actual symptoms. She essentially told me that she thought it was all in my head and asked if I would like medication for depression/anxiety. A few months later, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease by a doctor who listened to my symptoms. A biopsy confirmed my diagnosis. The problems went away after I began the prescribed gluten-free lifestyle. Dr. Samira Karakossian is also the same doctor who dismissed my mother's health concerns. She chalked up my mom's unusual symptoms up to menopause. Knowing something was wrong, my mom went to a different doctor who looked at her symptoms and not her age. She was diagnosed with endometrial cancer. Thankfully, after treatment, she's now officially in remission. With that said, who knows if my mom would still be here if she had listened to Dr. Samira Karakossian. Seek a second opinion. You know your body better than any doctor who spends less than 10 minutes with you.

This practice closed abruptly. Nobody told me, and I got a letter on the last day of 2021, when it's too late to pick a new insurance. I only kept the insurance I had to be able to see Dr. K. It was getting silly, though, every time I called to make an appt, even for telemedicine, they'd tell me to go to urgent care or to the ER. They should have told me they weren't staying in practice.

Was sad to hear today that both Dr.K's are no longer with this practice. I never ever had a problem with these doctors nor the staff.

She said my hair was looking lighter since she saw me last and when I said that I’ve been in the sun a lot, she said “do you wear a swimsuit? How do you have the confidence to do that?” AWFUL. RUDE. And she’s not thin, herself! She also spent zero time with me and fat shamed me even though I’m not even that big.
