When making my first appointment, I stated I wanted glasses and contacts. I then called for my prescription to try and get contacts and was informed they only did an exam for glasses and I would have to come back for another appointment to get a prescription for contacts. No big deal, maybe they misunderstood me. I had to wait a couple weeks in order to get in. I take off work and get there15 minutes early like they ask- after 30 mins of waiting in the lobby they informed me that they are running behind and the Dr went for lunch. Everyone is entitled to a lunch, but call and inform that you are running behind before making someone waste their time and skip their lunch to be told the Dr won't be back for an hour since she is going to lunch. Unprofessional and inconvenient. I would suggest going anywhere but here. Not only did I now have to take off two days from work due to their mistake, I still don't have a prescription to see. They called me back after all that happened and apologized for what had happened. Several times. I am very happy how they responded to this situation and the Dr herself apologized for the miscommunication and mess. Will go here again due to how they handled this and how wonderful the staff is.
I have been trying to call for over 2 weeks now, but they dont call back and their number now goes to dial tone.
What an awesome place to get your eyes exams! They are like family!
Kudos to Maria for her friendly and professional manner in helping me with my vision needs. I had to return to exchange my frames and she was very helpful and understanding.

The experience was good when compared with my last private optician. Good value for the money and the staff if polite and easy to work with.
Friendly staff quick exam and glasses ordered all within a half hour
Mazen was wonderful. I can b very difficult but he was patient and professional..
Don't go here! I was told my insurance covered the exam, 2 pairs of frames & lenses & fitting for contacts that I specifically said I wanted color contacts even if I had to pay extra. They had maybe 30 frames to choose from & nothing else was covered, no tint or anti glare despite having $200 per pair to spend. The frames were about $60 each then add lenses, tint, etc bringing the total per pair to approx $125. HOWEVER, they did not tell me that the remainder of the $200/pair could not be rolled over into the lenses or tint until AFTER THEY RAN MY CARD TWICE. Then came the contact fiasco. They fitted me & then ONCE AGAIN AFTERWARDS told me there was yet ANOTHER CHARGE. So for the 3rd separate time they charged another fee on my card. To top it all off they gave me a prescription for contacts from a brand that doesn't even make colored lenses which was the only reason I wanted contacts & I told 2 separate employees my wishes on this & they BOTH ignored me. As the cherry on top they did not properly explain the cleaning, care, insertion, removal or that while my contacts were different strengths for each eye they DID NOT educate me that you can put them in backwards making your sight worse than no correction at all. I'd never worn contacts before so I Needed the education. (I found it online after 2 weeks of trying to figure out what I was doing wrong). When I told her that my vision was worse with the contacts in than no corrective lenses at all she just said I needed to wait an undetermined amount of time to "get used" to them. So now I am stuck buying non-prescription colored contacts that I will still have to wear glasses over practically defeating the entire point of paying for colored lenses from a different online company. The company & employees do not give a d*mn about doing their job & helping people see. They seem to have extremely shady business practices in place they have to follow, which crosses back & forth between the line of not just unprofessionalism but fraudulent business practices. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS (cuz trust me they are going to spring extra costs on you every single change they can dream up & you STILL won't get what you want or need)!
Optical outlets on ridge Rd and us19 has lost my business!!! Telling me and my husband medicaid only covers glasses every other year we would have to get contacts this year WELL I spoke to medicaid directly and that's a lie! Then they say my daughter's not eligible for another pair til next month (children get two a year) so something wasn't right and I asked medicaid while I was on with them about it and they said nope she got two pair so the eye place billed medicaid for the pair they broke plus the one pair she received!!! Mind you I've been going to this place for probably about 8 years but when you break my daughter's frame and then call me and tell me you need to replace it and you charge her insurance for both frames we've got an issue. And then trying to force contacts on me and my husband who are old school and do not wear contacts will not wear contacts! I called my insurance myself we are both still eligible for eyeglasses and my daughter was charged for two pairs of glasses but his only ever received one pair from you guys!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
