Don't expect to see the doctor unless you are having annual physical. The office staff is non responsive in returning calls for test and immiging results. Go to a walk in clinic instead of seeing Dr Black.
this doctor and staff are horrible. been to 5 visits every single one was horrible. literally told her i can not miss work for no reason and she still refused to write me a prescription for ointment for a condition i have had my whole life and tried to refer me to a specialist for no reason. my first visit i missed work for no reason because no one told me i needed to fast. my second a girl stuck me 6-8 times trying to get blood. i saw another comment that sums this doctor up perfectly - incompetent and lack of compassion. i feel retarded telling her what is going on because you can literally look at her face and tell she does not give any craps about you or trying to help. will never go back! Edit- they also lied about canceling the test that i asked them to cancel and they said they would. Also they mailed it to wrong address. Whole office is a joke!

this whole practice in general is awful! from dr to nurse practitioners to office manager to their medical assistants! you all need more training!
My nurse practitioner Tamara Edlestein is the best I have yet to come across. Am about to turn 65 and with all the trips to doctors and hospitals ( breaking bones and so forth ) she is the best yes !!!!!.....As is the entire office staff and medical assistants.
I’ve had an appointment with both the doctor herself and two practitioners. One practitioner was very personable and took her time with me as a patient. But the other practitioner, Tamera, and Dr. Black were not. They asked me a few questions and seemed like they were in a hurry to leave the room. I needed an ultrasound done but didn’t receive my order form and had to go back to the office to get it. I just feel like I am an inconvenience to the staff, and they’re more concerned about doing blood work, blood work, and more blood work.
I started off visiting this office. Loved it so much I moved my husband & son here. If one of us wakes up not feeling well we call in the morning & got an appt for that afternoon! Everyone is helpful & the office staff are great! They actually remember who we are, it feels like an old school doctors office where everyone knows your name.
Dr. Black refused to talk to several family members about their concerns with ongoing medical issues and the covid vaccine. They have not been vaccinated because Dr. Black will not talk to them about the risks involved. Dr. Blacks office has also failed 3 times to fill out a referral for one of the same family members 3 times now. We're finding another doctor instead of asking for a 4th attempt. I cannot recommend finding another doctors office more. Avoid this office at all costs. Dr Black cares more about money than patient health.
Incompetent and lack of concern for staff and patients. I first became aware of the total lack of a responsible plan to enforce the mask rule. A man came in and refused to ware a mask he said," it makes me nervous. "he then turned with a large smile and waved the receptionist off as a joke. At this point I and the others waiting ,expected someone to take control of this situation. This was not the responsible of the front office staff or the medical assistants. No one came to supervise the situation. On another occasion a woman was allowed to wander about the small waiting room without a mask. Again no one came to enforce the mask rule that is clearly posted on the clinic door. We were all put in a very dangerous situation at a time Florida is at it's most dangerous time for the spread of covid. This lack of responsible management is the result of complete laziness by the office manager. Apparently she does not have the ability or desirer to maintain a safe environment during this pandemic . I suggest she contact clinics that have a successful program and ask for assistance before it is too late and someone contacts covid. This is the only clinic I have been in that has a lack of supervision where the health of staff and patience are at risk. Dr. Black can not be blind to the manner her clinic is being run. Of course she knows. She is not at the clinic often but she at the very least can meet with staff and discuss this problem. Target store maintains a stricter health code then this clinic.
I have been going to Dr. Black for close to 10 years. She is a very compassionate person who spends the time to care for her patents as a whole. Personally, I don't care for Doctors, but Dr. Black is amazing. The office staff ofd always friendly too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
