List of Imran Malik's Reviews
I don't think I have ever written a review for a doctor's office before, but I cannot say enough good things about this office. I have been to both the Fort Pierce and the Port St Lucie offices. Let me start with the obvious: Yes, there is usually a wait time. It is a high volume office, they do not rush your appointments, and they take a lot of insurance- There will always be a wait. Just plan for it and you'll be fine. Dr. Malik's office goes above and beyond. I have seen both Dr. Malik and the nurse practitioner and they are both kind, competent, and highly observant. I have only worked with one nurse there -Valeria, I believe her name is- and she is extremely good at what she does. Nursing-wise, she is extremely competent and personable, and made me feel very secure in the office. I feel she did a good job listening to my concerns and handling them appropriately. On the administrative side- I am SUPREMELY impressed. I came in with a HUGE pre-nursing school packet and Valeria (I apologize if I got the name wrong!!) coordinated the entire thing for me when I was feeling very nervous and lost on where to start. She basically made me feel like I just had to show up at the right times and everything would be resolved-even after multiple diagnostic errors on the end of a local lab. She took every issue and resolved it for me. Dr. Malik and the Nurse Practitioner: They are SMART and err lightly on the side of holistic practice which I love. For my issues, they suggested both medical intervention as well as appropriate lifestyle changes. They listened to all of my concerns and addressed them all thoroughly and without judgement. They allowed me to have autonomy over my own health and encouraged me to speak up and voice my concerns with them. They did not make me feel rushed at all and at the end of the appointments, always double check to make sure all of my concerns have been addressed. They made me feel like I had a real opportunity to better my health and not just treat symptoms. As long as they are in business, I will be a patient here. I am so happy and so impressed with them!
Absolutely the most unprofessional group of people I have ever met in the health care field. I’ve needed a neurosurgeon for months now and they sent me to a place that made me wait two months for the appointment only to find out they don’t accept my insurance. The office staff should have already known this if they were doing their job properly. I then found a neurosurgeon and all they needed was a referral. I contacted Dr. Malik‘s office to give them the information and let them know how they messed up and they need to fix it yet dr. Malik‘s stuff still did not send the referral that was needed. I called to ask why they said the other place doesn’t answer their phone which is weird because I called them three times and they always answer by the second ring. I have never met Dr. Malik just the different nurse practitioners and the receptionist. You can hear the staff in his office constantly putting down the other clients or patients and you can hear that these other clients and patients are having difficulties receiving services because of the incompetent staff. I will be calling to fire them as a doctor, and I hope that in the future he can find more compassionate able staff.
Service
Staff has been absolutely wonderful
The professionalism of the office is sub par which does not reflect that of the doctor or physicians assistants. Employees must understand that they reflect the doctor and directly impact how the office is seen. Cancelled future appointments because office staff are unprofessional.
They’re getting 1 star only because I can’t put zero. Every time I have any interaction with this place there’s an issue. You can call during office hours and you’re lucky if anyone answers. They tell you they call in prescriptions but do not. Then you’ll call their answering service for said prescription and still nothing gets done. This is the worst doctors office I have ever been to. That being said, Melissa is great and Dr Malik is acceptable as well. The office staff is a joke.
Unprofessional. I discussed my concerns with doctor Malik and he stated there's people out there with real actual problems. The walls are thin and I also overheard him give pain meds to a patient that he seemed to like her personality and declined others because well he didn't care for them as much. Office staff seem like they're " trying" but honestly seem untrained and they're there to fill a seat.
The front desk lady is very unprofessional. Playing on her phone and ignoring a patient that was standing at the window. And then when spoken to she gave a dirty look as if she was being interrupted. Their website is wrong as well. They are not accepting walk ins for non established patients. I don’t recommend this place at all.
Wish I could rate it less. My Fiance went there for basic blood work they said cost $85 and then later on received a bill from Quest diagnostics for $632. After several months and attempts to get it taken care of the account has gone to collections. Terrible management, completely irresponsible and untrustworthy.
UPDATE BELOW Im writing this review in hopes someone gets back to me so I can help my mom. She called the office this morning twice during office hours, no one answered. She drove to the office and the doors were locked, but the office should be open. She called again and left a message to "answering service" people and gave her name and number to return a call to her. Its been over 6 hours my mom has waited by the phone, in pain, scared, and sad. She just last attempt called the office, someone finally answered just to say they didn't have a provider for the day.....which is understandable but....my mom is really upset she waited all day for nothing... She took off work to see a doctor today and now may have to take off tomorrow...times are hard (for everyone) and two days off of work is really detrimental to a working family... i dont know where im going with this review i just want my mom seen so she can get better... thank you update 4/1, thank you for responding to my review. my mom was seen and said the staff and doctor are fabulous. she feels much better now that the office showed concern for her pain, and the doctor and staff are working well with my mom to find out what is causing her discomfort. thank you for hearing me and taking good care of my mom. shes all i got <3

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
