John Hruska's Online Review Report Card

Well Dr Hruska is a great doctor two years ago I fell through A dock and broke my leg severally compound fracture it was completely shattered I never thought I would be able to walk again . But now I Am working walking I Still have feeling in my foot all I can say He is an amazing doctor and a nice guy he did an awesome job. Also my father went to him for his back and he was having really bad problems and since he seen him and got procedure done he's been great. Sometimes you have to wait longer than you want but its a busy doctor office definitely worth the wait the staff is awesome and very professional!!

Terrible experience, diagnosis Bursitis, treated me for 10 months, 2 shots and a steroid pact, nothing helped. Told me id just have to live with it and the only thing that would help was to get young again, horrible man, Got a second opinion and I don't have Bursitis, its my back. Wish I had looked at the reviews sooner.

I waited for over 1 hr. 40 min. to have my 3 minute appointment rushed by Dr. Hruska and he could not even give me the time of day and let me explain in detail what I was experiencing. I don't recommend him at all!!!! He needs to consider other's time is just as precious as his and I should send him a bill for my long wait and terrible unprofessional service!

I'm glad I didn't see these ratings before my surgery. Dr. Hruska repaired my broken hip/femur last October. He is not the most personable guy, but he did a great job surgically - and that's definitely the most important thing to me.

I had read on another site about how bad was this guy's bedside manner. We went in with an open mind and our first experience with him (surgery for a torn miniscus) was extremely positive and he was very professional. Fast forward a few months later and we saw him again for the same knee, this time he was very belligerant and confrontational with us. We left there and swore to never return. This guy is a complete BULLY! Not a nice man at all.

I had read reviews on other sites and several panned him as being not very professional and having a grumpy disposition. My husband and I did NOT find this to be true during our many visits with him. My husband got hurt on the job and this is where Worker's Comp sent him. He had to have a severely torn miniscus repaired and Dr. Hruska did an excellent job, explained the photographs he took during surgery, and we were well informed of the post-surgical requirements. We found him to be professional and very pleasant with us on four separate visits (including outpatient surgery). The only complaint is that we traveled down to Stuart twice and the PSL office was so much closer to us (had we known about it). The last visit we waited and hour and a half to get in as the PSL office is not staffed as well as the Stuart location. That is the only complaint I have was that long wait. The knee has healed very nicely & hubby is strong & back to work!
