Dr Brooks is caring, incredible bedside manners and strive to provide exceptional care to her patients.

Dr. Brooks is amazing! I have never had an experience with a doctor where they would ask genuine questions and they actually listen when you respond. In my first appointment she sat with me for 2.5 hours going through my ER visit. I had irrelevant questions regarding immunizations and she, very patiently and thoughtfully, responded to each question. I think she may one the few remaining doctors who genuinely cares for her patients.

Rude, Defensive, and Unprofessional I called and left a detailed message (insurance information, etc.) to schedule my first appointment with Dr. Brooks. I called on a Wednesday and did not get a call back the same day or Thursday, so I called her office on Friday. I informed the person who answered the phone that I left a message on Wednesday and had not heard back from anyone from the office. The person who answered informed that she returned my call. I let her know that I did not get a call back, so we verified my phone number. The receiver repeated that she called me back to which I told her that I did not get a missed call notification or voicemail message. Then I quickly injected "Let's move forward" to avoid a back and forth match of what was previously established. I asked for next available time I could meet with Dr. Brooks. Then I specified an opening for next week. The receiver informed me that next week is full and let me know that Dr Brooks had an open availability for July 31. As we moved forward to schedule the appointment, she asked for my information and revisited the notion that she called me. I responded with the same response without sarcasm or rudeness in my voice or an elevated speech speed to indicate frustration or impatience. I said nonchalantly, "let's not revisit that" and she hung up abruptly. I called back and said, "either we loss connection or you hung up" to which the receiver violently interrupted me, accused me of having an attitude, refused to listen to me say that my tone, speech speed, and words have remained consistent and void of elevated emotion. The receiver continued to over talk me. I stopped talking. She told me that she has patients to get to and that I need to find a different doctor before proceeding to hang up the phone again. I hope the calls are recorded. This encounter is very telling. When it comes to my health I want to enter a safe space to share my concerns with a doctor. I am unsure of Dr. Brook's demeanor or disposition, but if this is my experience with the staff there, then my health is dangerously unsafe at South Palm Family Center. I strongly advise fellow patients to seek safe care elsewhere.

I went to see Dr Brooks, and the experience was so PROFESSIONAL and extra ordinary, absolutely no Doctor has ever spent so much time with me reviewing and discussing my health....I recommend Dr Brooks 💯% to any who doesn't have a family physician.

She listened to my concerns and took her time with me . I realize it's a new office and she's not always going to be able to do that but it was awesome to have someone spend that time to get to know me in my issues. She is knowledgeable and caring. Her staff is great!

Horrible doc who rushes appointments and no explaining anything. I would not recommend. Glad she is not teaching residents her poor medical practices.
