Medicare sent me an EOB saying Dr Furman had ordered some wound care for me. I have never seen Dr Furman or any Doctor in Martin County. The supplier was paid almost 7000.00. Fraud

Been a patient of Dr Furman's for 5 years now. As a licensed medical professional myself, I am very particular about my providers. Dr. Furman is thorough, listens to concerns, reviews to assure understanding and goals, and makes realistic treatment recommendations. I highly value his expertise and his level of respect for the patient and feel very fortunate to have him as my PC. *update 12/2021: Dr. Furman retired this year 😢*

It was by phone.He was in formed to send the RXto the pharmacy which he did not.He got pd for doing nothing. There's no recommendation here

Dr. Furman is an absolutely wonderful doctor. Very thorough, caring and intelligent. As my PCP he is on the front lines of my health and I trust him 100%. Excellent doctor.

Unless you are a patient with Martin Health System hospitals (or) other Martin Health doctors DO NOT expect any help from this doctor. Won't see you/refer you unless its through Martin Health's system. You cannot even contact your personal doctor unless you go through their main switchboard and they ask who you want, why you want them, etc. Doctors with Martin Health only care about Martin Health's "bottom line" and not making the patients experience the best it can be.
