List of Robert Barry's Reviews
My son came to this primary care doctor, Dr. Barry to be weaned off benzos that were given to him and he told him to cold turkey the medication which caused my son to have a illness called akathisia. . He treated my son without any concern or regards to his health and how can you see a patient in two minutes walk out of the room and not be concerned. Beware do not go to this man because who knows what will happen to you
Dr. Barry is the worst PCP I have ever dealt with. He is dismissive, condescending and does not know his patients files. For me, he actually said, if a test result comes back abnormal, what are you going to with it so you don't need it. Another example, my labs showed one of my levels too high; he had no comment or follow up just the usual come back in 6 months. Mr. Barry (I refuse to refer to him as a doctor going forward) absolutely did not listen to me, did not care and really should not be seeing patients. Any Doctor associated with him should be weary of including him in their practice.
Took 3 phone calls for him to even get back to us. His only interest was not of his patient, but getting off the phone. My husband had severe symptoms and he said there was nothing he could do for him other than take Robitussin and Tylenol. never suggested any follow up so I took it upon myself the next day to call Cleveland clinic again and it turns out my husband had pneumonia. If it wasn’t for dr yanez my husband would be in the hospital today. Worse doctor ever. Stay away from him he has no interest in your health. Time to pack it in Barry! Just horrible!!!
More concerned with the computer than his patient. I have to echo another review who said that "it's not that kind of visit". Watching the clock CONSTANTLY. Good luck trying to get thru to his office. Waited 3 days for a call back. Had to get patient ombudsman office involved. He's there for the paycheck...ONLY.
Garbage company! Can't see anyone till July of 2023 even for emergencies. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this doctor's office, don't even bother calling for an appointment you can't get one!
Dr. John Robert Barry listens to issues I have, when he first walks through the door into the room, then I give him time to read over my chart, catching up on my pass health problems. He's a great doctor that I've trusted for years. I always tell the truth as to what I did wrong, causing my problem, yes, he may not agree with how I handled what I did, but it to my benefit. Yes, I recommend Dr. Barry!
Rude and disinterested, and seemingly lacking in competency. Very close to being the worst primary care physician I have ever known. Don't waste your time nor your health with guy.
Dr. Barry strikes me as someone who is become burnt out and barely able to tolerate the "annoyance" of a patient who he whisks through his office so as to maintain his income flow. He really seems to be utterly detached from the patient's need to convey their healthcare concerns and then get relevant care. The experience was of someone who comes into the examination room, buries his head in the computer, goes off on sometimes-childish banters that have little relation to the reality of what the patient brought in that day and incessantly interrupts, to not even allow the patient to answer his questions. My opinion: the guy is a train wreck
One who does not listen does not care
Constantly interrupts Not really interested in hearing patient's concerns Seemingly lacking in medical expertise and general intellect to be able to provide sufficient quality healthcare Embarrassingly childish banter

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
