I have everything done there for pain

Well the time of this review I’m waiting my Second surgery in a month. There was a very unique problem when Dr. Husted perform surgery one month ago as my back had other issues post surgery. We’re going in in two more days for a revision surgery to correct us. Here’s hoping I could come at positively at the end of that surgery

Benedict, MD - South Florida Orthopedics:  I have a 10 disc spine fusion, have had 7 spine surgeries and have lost 5 inches in height.  Due to these issues, finding a knowledgeable and professional pain doctor was of the utmost importance to me when I moved from the Charlotte area, where I had been with a great pain management medical group for 15 years.  I was worried and spent a lot of time researching the pain doctors in the Treasure Coast area and my intensive search led me to Dr Gregory M. Benedict with the South Florida Orthopaedic.  Besides Orthopaedic's, Dr Benedict has extensive training in pain management and I truly do not believe that there is a better pain doctor, than Dr Benedict in all of the Treasure Coast.  He is professional, no nonsense, inquisitive and a truly caring doctor and when he accepted me as a patient, I was extremely pleased.  Without reservation, I highly recommend Dr Gregory M. Benedict.  He is in the Tradition area, South Florida Orthopedics, just past the Cleveland Clinic Hospital.

I have had two visits and I am very pleased, I have been referred to Dr Jones by Dr Haus, I see Dr Jones nov 3rd, thank you for taking the time to see me.

the shots helped out alot as my knee heals.

So I went to see Dr. Husted after seeing Dr. Hoffman and learning my hips weren't the issue, but my low back was. I have NEVER seen this man before and learned after checking in that I was being allotted 15 MINUTES as a new patient as a man was scheduled 15 minutes after my appointment time.They took 4 views of my low back. I asked one of the girls IF he treated upper back and was told no (as I had brought an MRI and results of severe disc herniation to discuss with him).He waltzes into the room, spends LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES with me and keeps asking me IF I had ever taken ibuprofen for the pain or done physical therapy for my back. I told him no as I take Gapentin for nerve pain related to 2 autoimmune conditions I suffer with and he NEVER went over my x-rays!I was trying to get established so when I am in severe pain, I could get a cortisone injection. After prescribing 12 PT treatments, he says he'll see me in 6 weeks and gets up and walks out.I had surgery many years ago with one of his colleagues and I was treated way better by him than Hoffman or Husted. They like 3 minute consultations with new patients.I'm very frustrated, aggravated and angry over the shabby way I was treated as a new patient!!!! I am a Senior Citizen and live in a different town than where this practice is -- the main reason I wanted to establish with him is because IF I ever require surgery, they are connected into a better hospital system than the one in my town.The ONLY positive thing I can say about this experience is he's a snappy dresser.
