Dr Rivera has been my primary physician as well as my husband and mother for over 33 years. He truly is an asset to the medical profession. I would not trust anybody else with my life or my families life. He is spot on the best GP that I have ever had!Debbie Howell.

Dr. Rivera is one of the old school physicians who truly treats medicine as a vocation. He makes his patients feel extra special and always shows them dignity and patience.

Not even worth 1 star. Do not go here. You will never see an actual doctor. He puts his patients off on his nurse practitioners.Since March 1 I have been calling 2 dr offices to check on records requests. Meaning my OLD Doctor sends my records to my NEW DOCTOR (RIVERA). The millinieum office SENT my records to my old dr. I have lived from PGI to Naples and never have I witnessed such an incompetent Doctor or staff. That is my experience.Now let me tell you about how Dr. Rivera almost KILLED my mother-in-law. He kept telling her that she had a bleeding ulcer and that's why her blood count was at 6.8!!! After numerous gastric procedures she was getting worse. Dr. Rivera wanted to refuse her admittance into Fawcette hospital, luckily another dr did admit her...then sent her home...still not knowing what's wrong! Less than 12 hours later we were carrying her to the car to rush her to the ER. She was in SEPTIC SHOCK. Finally they called in specialists and what was wrong??? It wasn't anything to do with her gastric system it was BLOOD CANCER. A highly manageable cancer, but she almost died because Dr. Rivera was convinced it was gastric.

I recently changed from another millennium doctor to dr Rivera. I was sent to his nurse practitioner but was referred to dr rivers for medical issue. I found him to be compassionate and a good listener.

Dr. Rivera and his entire office are the most upbeat medical group I've even encountered. Dr. Rivera is beyond caring and smart. When I had surgery he saw me every morning (6 days!) in the hospital at 5:30 am, like clockwork, speaking with me and overseeing all that was going on! That encompassing overview was really important when there were various specialists who were just involved in their individual areas of me!His entire office always has a smile & is friendly. Yes, his nurse practitioners see his patients as well. They are in constant contact with him and he is available to them & me as a patient. All of practitioners are extremely knowledgeable and they have the time to really sit, listen and think! I welcome them as a huge asset to his practice.The combination of Dr. Rivera and all of his team are outstanding! Dr. Rivera's practice in this day and age of government & insurance interference -- think Obamacare, insurance company's meddling & low co-pays, and Medicare, works far better than anything else we've encountered.

I have been a patient of Dr Rivera for 15 years. Very responsive to my needs. Like all Drs now he has been forced by Obama Care to use PAs but when I have needed to talk to him directly no problem at all. He is very busy so scheduling a routine appointment with him can be a problem unless you plan ahead at least 6 months but that is the case with 90% of my Doctors.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rivera for over a year now, have never even seen him. He uses nurse practioners to see, as far as i know, all of his patients. I have an urgent care issue that I have, called the office at 9:30 in the morning, never heard back from him or his staff. Not at all responsive to patients suffering.

Dr. rivera is top rate. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, caring, and a good listener.

Dr. Juan Rivera has been my primary doctor and my childrens doctor for about 25 years now. He is an execellent doctor and allways 100% accurate with every diagnosis. Even before the tests results come back he has the right answer. I moved 2 years ago 3 hours north of his office and still go to Punta Gorda to see him as my Dr. I would never change Dr's. He is truly the best. He allways gives me execellent specialist referals also. You could never find a doctor with more knowlege and compasion than him. He is a true blessing to me and my family. I hope he never retires. We need doctors like him.
