PLEASE READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS BEFORE PROCEEDING: Dr. Zacco is more of an alternative medicine type physician. Do not schedule a complex medical procedure with this individual. I went for a PRP hair treatment last year and he and his staff struggled to place an IV in my arm despite trying 13 times. Luckily there was a newer girl working at the time (a phlebotomist who had prior experience with placing IVs), otherwise the doctor would have never been able to draw blood to begin the procedure. After an hour and a half of struggle Dr. Zacco offered to have my procedure compensated for free based on the amount of time that had gone into the blood draw to no avail. Thankfully I did not have any surgical procedure done but I am cautioning other individuals considering hair restoration at A-Z. DO NOT get any work done here if you’re expecting the level of standard the United States typically provides for aesthetic procedures.

I waited quite some time before I left this review because I wanted to see how much of my hair would grow back in. I had a transplant done in May 2022 and here it is Feb 2023 and I may have about 30% of growth in my crown area. Very disappointing after spending $7500. The doctor boasts that he is the “only” MD in the area that does transplants when in actuality the ONLY thing he does is take the donor hair from the back. He has technicians and his office assistants (who I’m not even sure are licensed) doing the actual grafting. When I went back for my follow up in Dec 2022, I explained to him that I was not happy with the results and he said he could do another round for $7000. He is also not skilled in dealing with African American 4b/c type hair. I also asked for before and after pics and he mentioned he would have to charge me for sending them - what a joke! The selling point for me to get this procedure was the friendliness at the consult and the fact that he supposedly is the only MD in the area that does this (which is not true at all). I’m hoping to help someone else make an informed decision before choosing this place to spend all of your hard earned money. Don’t be fooled by the smiling faces and warm and fuzzy because he’ll gladly take your money and you are stuck with whatever outcome you get.

I remember a few years ago I visited this practice. They also had many bad Google reviews that have since disappeared...every single one of them. I am NOT a customer, but I was thinking about it. I would RUN not walk from this place!! Let's just say I am a reliable source, and I did an in-depth investigation on this practice.

I have been using Dr. Zacco for serveral years now. I have had 4 procedures over the course of approximately 10 years. My results have always been optimal in my opinion. Dr. Zacco is OCD about his craft. I have had approximately 3 second opinions over the course of 10 years, when it comes to other practices. Not only were they more expensive but I found that some doctors are not even local. They have to fly into the state to perform the procedure as well as the team. Some doctors have not done as many procedures as Dr. Z. I found that the other doctors did not bother to physically examine the area, but only visually look at what they were going to do, which was a red flag. They did not discuss the differences in the type of procedures and the pros and cons of each. Dr. Z does this. He physically examines, physically draws, and maps out his course of action. Overall I have had a pleasurable experience with Dr. Z. His OCD for his craft, communication when it comes to pre and post op, and return customer perks, is very refreshing. Kudos.

Had a great experience. Dr Z was very thorough considering my medications and even contacted one of my doctors. The whole team was professional and collaborated well together. I appreciated the personal touch and aftercare. Pricing was competitive.
