Dr. Holly is the top notch physician in Raleigh. I recently moved here from Georgia and was a new patient. The staff is always nice. I have had one issue with showing up for my appointment 45 minutes EARLY and the receptionist forgot about me and I wasnt seen until 1 hour after I arrived but that was no means a reflection on Dr. Holly or his level of competency. We all make mistake I will not see any other dr. in North Carolina.

Dr Holly is a great physician. Easy going and a great listener. Very good office setting that is convenient to my work.

Dr. Holly might be OK however the office staff at WakeMed Physicians Practices Brier Creek Medical Group definitely is not. I was seen by Dr John Durwood Holly on 121114 as a new patient. A couple medications were prescribed and at checkout I was informed the office was connected to my pharmacy CVS. I went to my pharmacy to pickup the meds but only one was available to me at the time the other required a preauthorization from the prescribing doctor. After repeated faxes the first being on 121414 to the doctors office from the pharmacy my phone calls and my wifes conversations with the staff more than a week has laspsed and still the pharmacy hadnt received the required preauthorization or any other kind of info from Dr. Holly. Yesterday CVS again faxed over the info for Dr Holly but according to the office staff at WakeMed Physicians Practices Brier Creek Medical Group the only person that can check faxes was busy all day and unfortunately before the fax machine was checked Dr Holly left the office and would not be back until at least Monday 112214. What a runaround and certainly not efficient nor sympathetic to their patients needs.
