Bauman charges $500.00 for a virtual phone consultation. That is laughable and crazy. Most talented surgeons I've met with for hair restoration do not charge a consultation fee, let alone one that is $500.00. The receptionist then informed me that I could use the money as a credit toward a laser cap if I didn't go through with using him for the surgery. Ummmm....no thank you!

Scheduling with Dr. Bauman's office is a horrible experience. Frequent rescheduling, often at the last minute. Messages that go unreturned. Requests that just slip through the cracks. It really appears to be all about the transaction. I've never been to another doctor's office that treats its patients this way.

Dr.Bauman was recommended to me by a trusted A rated plastic surgeon. I called and snagged a cancelled appointment time so I was super excited. I went in and the staff and Dr.Bauman really gave first class service. They answered all of my questions and even questions I didn’t know to ask! Very professional. I even inquired about their vitamin line and shampoo and no one tried to push anything on me, they gave me the info and moved on. It was a perfect visit! The only thing that happened was I decided to read a few more reviews about him and found the reviews on this site! Horrible and NOT at all my experience. I left and decided to really ask around. I was shy at first to bring it up but decided I needed to get more info. ALL I found were positive remarks. I even had a former employee that LOVED working for him and was happy to tell her great experience. I believe Boca is a tough town with some difficult people. I’m not sure what happened with this person writing that horrible review but I certainly have truly found it to be the extreme opposite!
