I’ve gone to this doctor for many many years and have always been very happy with him. Recently he’s become a SignatureMD scam doctor. It’s not bad enough that I pay outrageous premiums for my insurance but now he wants me to pony up an additional $2500 a year for the pleasure of being his patient. Essentially he’s double dipping. He’s wants to be paid by me as well as getting reimbursed by my insurance company. To add insult to injury, on the exact day that I received concerning blood test results I got a call from his office saying that the nurse practitioner, that he allowed his “lower class” patients that didn’t pony up the money to see, is no longer working for them and I would have to find another primary care physician or pay up. She probably saw through the scam that was taking place. Thanks Doc! I guess we know where your priorities are. You apparently are not as compassionate as I was led to believe. Good luck with your newfound wealth. I’m sure that you’re giving a nice percentage to signatureMD for their help in giving this new “status” that you think you have. You may think that you are now an “elite” doctor but in reality you’re just another part of the problem with our healthcare system. You, SignatureMD and the insurance companies will get rich while Americans pay the price. Congratulations, I hope you feel good about that.

My family has been seen by Dr. Castellanos for years and have always been very satisfied with his care. His office has moved to a concierge practice, but we stayed on to be seen by the nurse practitioner who has been very pleasant. Apparently the nurse practitioner is no longer with the practice and we received a call that my moms appointment next week is cancelled. She will have to find a new physician unless she wants to pay for concierge care on top of health insurance. Very disappointed.

For the patients who speak spanish only. El mejor Medico y Personal. Son como tu familia. I am really sorry I had to leave Boca Raton. Dr. Castellanos and his personal are the most caring medical facility I've ever had. Thank you so much for your caring and dedication to medicine, I did not feel like another number, you and your staff are wonderful, God bless you and keep your service for many more years to come.

Most BRILLIANT and CARING Physician! We have been patients of Dr. Castellanos for the past 10 years. We pride ourselves in finding outstanding physicians. I am a retired healthcare provider and our son is president of a hospital and we have learned what makes up a world-class physician. Without doubt, Dr. Castellanos falls into this category. While he’s not an alarmist, he never leaves a stone unturned and checks us out in the most thorough way. He’s knowledgeable, compassionate, empathetic and extraordinarily caring and kind. We have referred all of our friends to him and they’ve all joined his wonderful practice. His office staff is the best! They are real people who genuinely care about their patients. We trust Dr. Castellanos with our lives and highly recommend him!!! it would be hard to find a physician that would be better than Dr. Castellanos!!!

Dr. Jose Castellanos is a godsend. He’s a very patient person who genuinely cares about his patients. He always takes the time to explain things to me in terms that I can understand. He’s diligent in making sure my health is the best it can be. The entire staff is wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Jose Castellanos to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor! He had been my doctor for 20 years! God Bless him!!!!
