Juan Pablo Lopez Gonzalez's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Juan López Gonzalez has been my doctor for about 3 years now, and I have nothing but great things to say about his care. I have never felt rushed through my appointments and his staff is also compassionate, specially Laura. Dr. López listens to all my concerns, and answers all the questions I have. He is knowledgeable, caring, compassionate and friendly, he has taken care also of my family I am confident in his ability to address any health issues or concerns in the future.

Don't understand all the negative reviews. Initially they stopped me from making this place (and the location), my primary doctor. But I was pleased with my initial encounter with Maria, front desk. Asked many questions, I unknowingly can come off rude, yet she was very patient, listened, verified info, and got me in quickly. Called into room, thought I was talking to Laura, NP, but it was the M.A. She emphasized and I felt very understood. She had a great positive, light hearted personality. It was refreshing. I am a senior, know my body, been around the block, so to speak, with Dr's. I know what works and doesn't work, as I felt like I was a ginny (sp) pig for 25+ years and nothing helped. Just a lot of (missed) diagnosis - labels - for the insurance and unknown. (Also worked in the medical field for 15 years.) Anyways, Then saw Laura, NP. She listened to me, and I got taken care of. Surprised I needed a physical - but she only listened to various body parts. Have always had a shortI still got in on time. Definitely needed floors and other areas cleaned , esp. the bathroom, mold in toilet. UPDATE: Lowered stars as Lauren NEVER returned my calls, regarding prescribing wrong med. Took forever to get a referral. My agent even tried. UPDATE 7/20/22: Saw Laura again, and not planning to be so straight forward, first thing I asked her if she had an issue prescribing my migraine medicine. Talked about above issues and others. Believe the migraine meds mix up was largely due to CVS. I asked Laura, NP, about a current prescription and she helped me decide. We discussed trying the medicine for one more month. I have many allergies and resistance to most med's, I'm afraid to take anything new or ANY PRESCRIPTION (Drugs with major side affects). I have converted to natural supplements, and many doctors want me to got back on those same drugs that did nothing them, (unsuccessfully), and Laura is not pushing that right off and we are working on a solution. I believe her. Often I've returned to a Dr. to find they totally ignored my needs and wanted to change the course. TMI: I hope this helps those that have trouble or fear of talking to their Dr., leaving dissatisfied. Make your notes the night before and bring your effidence . I'm a senior. Took me most my life to put that into practice and boy, what a big difference.
