List of Aaron Guthrie's Reviews
Does not seem very knowledgeable, does not seem to care about solving my medical problems, does not follow up.
This doctor does not care anything about a patients health. He gave me meds that I didn't need. He didn't even tell me he was prescribing them to me. I had a blood work done, and the results showed that I did not need that medication. He didn't follow through on orders for xrays, so I wasted my time going for the appointment only to find that the orders were not entered into the system and I could not get the needed test. When his office was called he was not available. If I could give a lower mark, I would.
I could tell the day I had my new patient appointment, he had not reviewed my medical history, the only thing he was interested in was my medication list and to start sending me to specialists. Medications I have been on for 10 plus years for anxiety, adhd, in which these were diagnosed by specialist within SSM had he read my history he would have known. He cut my anxiety medication from 3 a day to 1 a day!!! Then refused to refill my adhd medication. Mind you known of these medications have ever been abused. The initial visit he told me he would continue to fill my medications as long as I kept my appointments, I had not even made it to my 3 month follow up and this man was denying medications, and he was denying them from home on his vacation!!!! Needless to say SSM needs to send him on his way! He never asked me about any medical concerns I had at this visit, spent maybe 10 min with me at a New Patient appointment. VERY UNACCEPTABLE.
My husband had a visit with Dr. Guthrie. It lasted all of TEN minutes. He has very poor beside manner and refused to listen to ongoing issues. We were obligated to switch to this doctor as the other one in the practice left. Dr. Guthrie REFUSED to continue to renew medications that my husband had been taking for MONTHS. These were medications that specifically state not to abruptly stop taking them. We expressed this concern to Dr. Guthrie who stood by his decision while my husband experienced terrible side effects from stopping a medication he had been on without having the option to ween off. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR! Then my husband had a follow up after an Emergency Room visit with Dr. Guthrie. He refused to look into any of the items mentioned by E.R. Physicians and instructed my husband to return if things worsened. However, the symptoms he was seen for were of very high concern. This guy is a quack who doesn't care about patient well being.
Dr.Guthrie is a outstanding Dr, I will he back
Worst doctor I have ever gone to. If you have a condition that he does not understand, he will not see you.
Finally a doctor who actually treats his patients instead of just referring to a specialist! I have seen Dr. Guthrie for a little over a year and could not be happier.
Great doctor! Kind, caring and takes the time to listen. Started seeing him 2 years ago and now he takes care on my whole family.
If you have every day average issues and just need your prescription, he's your man, but don't expect him to look beyond the obvious or refer you out to a specialist, even if he admits you need to see one.
Dr Guthrie is just the best. He cares about you An takes time to listen. No unnecessary testing. He's just wonderful

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
