Dr Dowdy is a fantastic physician.

Dr Dowdy is an excellent doctor but his support staff leaves a lot to be desired. Tried on multiple occasions to order prescription refills through his support staff, they either get it wrong or not done at all. I will be moving to another physician whose staff does not cause un needed stress in my life.

When Dr. Dowdy first started his practice he was available and attentive. Extended hours and personal service. Now, he's only available for appointments 2 days a week, no late nights and no weekends. He covers his practice by Nurse Practitioners, not Doctors. His office staff is slow to return calls, never picks up when you call but let's every call go to voicemail. Maybe you get a call back in an hour, maybe next day, maybe never until you call and leave another message that you are still awaiting a call back. Paperwork has been screwed up as well. Dr Dowdy was a practice I had recommended, but can't do so now. Sadly, I am now looking for another Doctor who is more involved with their practice.

He’s an awful dr . He refused me service for not wearing a mask and discharged me from the office . Mind you during the pandemic I didnt Wear a mask . There’s no law that you need to wear a mask .

Been with him for just about a year now. He has treated me for regular check ups and general health issues, answers concerning questions and is knowledgeable. Was even complimented by one of my other doctors for prescribing a certain drug when the one I was originally given was causing issues. I would definitely refer him to a friend.

Dr. Dowdy is a caring, highly knowledgeable professional and a great listener, who treats you like a professional individual, not just another patient. His staff is friendly and efficient, and his office environment is like being in a warm comfortable home setting, not like a clinic at all. I hope to continue to have Dr. Dowdy as my physician for a long time. I moved to FL only six months ago, and finding the right doctor was one of my number one concerns. No longer...I’ve found him.
