A wonderful clinic, but their billing department is an absolute NIGHTMARE. They billed my insurance incorrectly and charged me $600, which I payed. Then, after a lengthy discussion with my insurance company, discovered it was the fault of Pediatric Associate's billing department and was informed they needed to retroactively send my insurance company the bill. LOW AND BEHOLD.... 2 weeks of calling them and waiting on hold for thirty minutes (no exaggeration) at a time... I am unable to contact them. No one will answer, no matter what time of day I call. I will be visiting the clinic in person tomorrow in attempts to get this resolved, considering there is no other way to reach their billing.
very friendly and accommodating. in and out with minimal wait. extremely happy with my choice in pediatricians.
The first doctor we met at the Bloomingdale location was outstanding. He was kind, thorough and professional. I felt very comfortable with him. As to our 2nd visit that doctor was also great. I was pleased with the care my daughter received on both visits.
Absolutely love this place .
Very friendly
Doctor Karen Baldwin is amazing and caring she pays attention and speaks directly to patient (teenager) being seen not just the mom! I highly recommend her.
Na
Had a virtual visit that no one never showed up for…. Waited for 1 hr before hanging up. No one never checked in and apologized for the inconvenience or nothing. Wasted time spent waiting and lack of communication. But as soon as I received a text message from someone I needed to reply to, what do you know here comes a message in the chat advising me to stay active, not answer any calls or text messages, and not to toggle between apps. But the nerve to not show up to an appointment that was scheduled prior is beyond me. These doctors offices have to be held accountable in some form of fashion. But, let you show up 15 min to an appointment they’re rescheduling. A little upset of time time wasted which cause me to cancel my prior obligations.
My daughter is 19 and doing things herself. She needed some forms filled out for her nursing program. Both Riverview and Bloomingdale location told her that her paperwork was ready. This is now the second time the paperwork was not ready and needed the doctor signature which she told them it was needed. Now she has to wait until next Tuesday. This is not acceptable. Never had problems with your facilities before and I am happy to say after this paperwork is finalized I will not have her go back to Pediatric Associates. We will look elsewhere for high quality and caring health facility. I will not recommend anyone either.
Visited aftercare. Love love love my children's primary drs here. BUT aftercare drs.....waste of time. Useless. The dr was awful. Said nothing was wrong. Ended up bringing my daughter to the Brandon ER and was told she had a sever UTI. Mind you I told the aftercare doctor, Dr. Singer I thought it was a UTI or something with her kidneys after reading up on the symptoms she was experiencing. I even asked Dr. Singer for proof of the negative UTI results or visit summary. She said there wasn't anything she could show or give me. Then annoyingly called me over and over and over again for days to "check in". She knew she didn't do her job diligently. She clearly shouldn't be a pediatrics physician of any kind. She had no sympathy for the pain my daughter was experiencing. After days of on and off pain my daughter finally got the antibiotics she needed to treat the infection. Beware if you are scheduled for a visit with Doctor Rachel Singer. My personal opinion, don't bother. Just go straight to the ER.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
