This place wasn't bad , they are kinda all the same.

I've been here three weeks so far and everyday gets better.....there's a little issue with nursing staff but times are hectic rite now and their only human....the drs have been great my therapist Sophia has been amazing also the ta staff have been great to ....I've gotten a lot out of being here and I think it is a great place I have three weeks left and I know I'll learn even more so thank you to all the staff at river oaks for helping me in my recovery I'm blessed to have yall

The therapists were the best I have encountered. From trauma, addiction, teaching coping skills, mindfulness, shame and guilt. all of these together for a concentated 30 days was the key to my success.

River Oaks saved my life. You need to be ready to receive help and change your life prior to attending. If you’re there, and you’re open to change, they will give you all you need to succeed. 10/15/2018 is my sobriety date, it’s also the day I stepped into their facility. Forever grateful.

I must say that all of us whether ir be Family members or Patients have this huge fear when we hear the word Rehabilitation Center; Unfortunately 80% to not say more are like prison's. They take away all that is personal to patients while i can understand that some things are hazardous having their cellphones to connect with family during the difficulty they come across in rehab i think is good for patients. Who wants to feel like they are in jail when they had the strength to take that HUGE step and get help. I was personally assisted by Jay. He explained everything to me from before admission to what i should expect and he fought to make sure my husband had a bed ready for detox upon his hospital discharge. The fact that the facility is so clean and has so much scenery where patients are allowed to go for walks, play basket ball, a gym and not to mention the rooms are literally like hotel rooms. Super clean. I remember my husband wanted to go after a week because he was home sick as anyone would be and his therapist Amy WOW I cant stop thanking all she has done to give my husband a second chance at life or at least help him realize he had a second chance, life was not over because of past mistakes. My husband has been home for a week now and you can see a huge difference. I cant lie and say hes fixed and perfect, he has to work alot still on himself but River Oaks gave him a HUGE push toward success. I RECOMMEND ANY FAMILY MEMBER OR ANYONE STRUGGLING WITH ADDICTION 100% this is where you want to find help no questions asked.I am eternally grateful for River Oaks and all their staff for helping all of those in need as you helped my family!

Risha in the pharmacy really helped me with my medicines. TA Mattie was a great resource as well as Keita, Tanya, and Jocelyn. Therapists were helpful in class and the community of clients was very supportive. Groups were very informative and had beneficial discussions. Therapist Travis has a wonderful professionals group. River Oaks gave me a different perspective. The facility was well kept, there were so many activities available for recreation. I would highly recommend this facility!

Came here not feeling very well but just 3 days in I had a complete turn around! Great caring staff and nurses. The TA Shane was incredible and compassionate and understanding throughout my stay here. Would recommend coming here to anyone having trouble with alcohol or drugs.

I would like to give my thanks to the following amazing people here at River Oak’s ; Ali my therapist was able to help me open up and start to really look at my feelings. Tony G. Made an amazing impact on my recovery, he helped me understand that I have a disease I’m not a bad guy. I also appreciated the professionals group and being able to use other experiences men and women to help me prepare myself to achieve some new goals.The peer leader program and big brother/big sister program gave me a sense of purpose and service to the community here in the fellowship with the men and women around me.The facility and grounds here at River Oaks are very beautiful and accommodating. The activities that are available such as cornhole bingo basketball tennis volleyball kickball. Gave me something to do to remember that you can still have fun sober and in recovery.I would recommend this treatment center to anyone that it is looking to improve their life.

Jennifer was awesome as a case worker and the thing I’ve liked the most was I’ve been through treatment a lot but actually learned some new things to help my recovery Christian the boss lady was super nice to me food was good nice showers and bed best one I’ve ever been too

River Oaks is so amazing and has literally saved my life for a 3rd time. The staff and community are absolutely amazing. I’d like to single out a few staff members that really helped me and got close to. I’d like to thank Kara my therapist who has helped me so much. Demetrius who’s groups and one on ones are incredible. The TA’s are incredible!!! Have to give a shout out to Cecil, Mattie, Veronica, Frank, Rosbie, Nigel, and Joselyn. They also have awesome activities such as volleyball, pool, ping pong, kickball, bingo, spa night, movie nights, basketball, and tennis. I absolutely loved them all. River Oaks, thank you again. I love you guys. Also I don’t want to forget about the life long friends that I have made here. I will never forget you guys.
