Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches's Online Review Report Card

My grandfather was moved here for dialysis. Hats off to all the staff here! They all take pride in what they do and really try to help every patient that comes. He’s been to a few places around town and none of them compare in service. Recommend for any family member.

The physical therapy team is excellent, these girls have really helped me reach my goals, special Thank you to Esther, Grace and Tammy. The nursing team is really caring and helped me get through this difficult time, Thank you, Carmen, Nursing Aide Camille Nursing Aide Gurlines and many others. I'm sad to go but happy I'm one step closer to going home.

Caring facility with excellent personal care. Appreciate nurses and nursing assistants. Staff was very approachable. Kindred Hospital is a gem.

I've been constantly in the hospital since January 2022 and out of all the hospitals I've been to Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches has helped me the most. The physical therapy team is excellent, they really encourage me and push me to work harder. The other hospitals weren't concern if I couldnt walk again but this team really wants to see me get better. I have seen much improvement over the last couple of weeks and I'm excited about how much stronger I am today than I was months ago. Thank you for not giving up on me and giving me the motivation to move forward.

Thank you to all the hospital staff that took care of my during my stay. Its been an uplifting experince for me. I had alot favorite nurses and nursing aides and PT staff helped me get to the next level. The nurse practitioner Kelly, Dr. K, pain doctor and my gastroenterologist were really good. Thank you for the excellent care.

This is a shout out about Shadine in the medical records department who quickly, efficiently and compassionately helped me obtain the medical records for my father so we could get a bill paid by insurance. She responded to my request immediately and helped me get it processed.The entire administration team at Kindred was extremely helpful during my father's stay. The hospital is very well run and is comprised of a super caring, understanding and supportive staff.

I had a great experience at Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches. From 1-10 I would rate Kindred a 12, above and beyond care. Thank you to Raymond, RN for the excellent care, the respiratory team, the nurses aides, and the rehab team. I have to thank them all, although the road to recovery is long they had made it a pleasant one. I would recommend Kindred Hospital.

I usually do not take the time out to write reviews however I feel called to do so after my mothers recent stay at this facility. My mother is a diabetic and has been suffering with a multitude of issues from the disease. She received specialized rehabilitation therapy to help her regain function and her confidence after experiencing difficulty with her mobility. I have to thank the staff at Kindred for the cleanliness, warmth and patience shown while caring for my mother. She is doing so much better because of the care she received here. I especially would like to thank the Sandra, Jamahl and Colleen for keeping her smiling and making her hospital stay positive despite the circumstance.

If I could give them zero stars I would. Where do I begin? The other 1 star reviews are spot on. There were 2-3 really exceptional nurses that cared for my loved one. I hope they find a better environment to work on. The healthcare industry needs more people like them! Marie, Ericka & Francois? These three women were amazing & I can’t say enough great things about them! The others are just collecting a paycheck & don’t care anything about their patients.My loved one was overmedicated, not given a bath, didn’t have his teeth brushed for 10 days straight. He lost 10 lbs. during this stay. When food was brought to the room it wasn’t taken to the bed. Instead it was left on a tray by the door—of a patient that was a fall risk and couldn’t walk without assistance. If a family member were not in the room the entire duration of the visiting hours he would’ve been left in his soiled sheets for hours on end. The nurse, a “male” nurse, Jamaal wouldn’t take him to the restroom. The reason he gave is that “if he falls I would be responsible for it..” Seriously? Aren’t nurses trained to lift patients? Jamaal needs to find a different profession. He’s too lazy to be working in healthcare. My loved one MIGHT have received therapy 3x for MAYBE 15-30 minutes each session during the 18 days he was a patient here. Those sessions only happened because I asked the Director of Therapy what his treatment plan was. I never received a plan, only BS responses. I never received a plan, only BS responses.The day after it became known that I’d been taking daily he miraculously needed to be discharged.An incident occurred in the next patients room & the CNA actually told the nurse not to record it in the system because “she didn’t want there to be any issues.” That comment alone let me know that this facility falsifies their records. The nurse at the new facility shared some of the notations with me & they are laughable & completely false. The state medical board without a doubt should investigate this place. This place is horrendous.

As a patient, my service was awesome from hygiene to personal care to physical therapy to attending to any needs that I may have had including medication, which was given freely when needed And in a timely manner. Ace was a speech therapist that stood out because she allowed me treats to do tests.The hospital has specialty doctors within the facility.I was here for 17 days so far...wonderful...but there's no place like home...can't wait...
