Worst hospital I've ever been to. Dr. Teofilo Lama never even examined my 3 month old after he was rushed via ambulance from Palms West for a head injury, and then discharged him while overlooking my son's CT scan sent over from Palms West. My son had a fractured skull which I only FIRST learned about TWO WEEKS LATER when DCF came poking around only to have both of my children taken from me due to his misdiagnosis or complete MISS of a diagnosis. We were treated like criminals, no Doctor would speak with us, and Dr. Lama fed FALSE information to the DCF supervisor and I quote " The boy has brain atrophy due to malnutrition. He has the brain of a 65 year old man. And he has spots on his brain which will lead to him being special needs. " None of this was true and was proven to be quite the opposite when the neurologist finally looked at my son after he was FINALLY admitted to the PICU unit. Shame on you St. Mary's.
