Spent 6 months trying to get an appointment. The front desk is still zero help. So if you’ve read prior reviews nothing has changed. Office manager is not a nice lady. Had me run all over town getting medical records and still refuses to give me an appointment. They claim to be accepting new patients but they are not. Do yourself and your mental health a favor and go somewhere else. This office sucks.
absolutely the worst care i’ve ever received. i’d give negative stars if possible. they had admitted to losing my referrals and having paperwork “thrown away”, causing the process to seek care to take nearly 6 months. what a waste of time. if you so as much don't feed into the staff’s ego they will speak down to you, deceive and lie to you, hang up on you, and make tactless comments to you and your loved ones trying to advocate for you. don’t waste your efforts on this pathetic excuse for a psychiatric clinic.
This clinic does not care about its patients. My wife had been trying to get help here for over 9 month. She Needed help. And they gave us a letter refusing to see her after 2 appointments because she left early from one and over a handful of phonecalls. I dont think its surprising, someone seeking psychiatric help is unstable at times. I dont know how their complaints directed at my wife were not interpreted as proof of the fact that she needed them.
We would like to take a moment to acknowledge the feedback we have received regarding experiences with our office staff and management. We understand that reaching out for psychiatric care often comes during vulnerable times, and every interaction-whether clinical, administrative or financial-should reflect empathy, respect and professionalism. Your voice matters and your experiences have guided meaningful changes in how we operate today. We are pleased to share that we have welcomed a new office manager who brings compassion, professionalism and a strong commitment to patient care. As part of our ongoing efforts to create supportive and healing environment, we are accepting new patients by referral only. This allows us to offer focused and appropriate care. Whether it is coordinating care, answering billing questions, or simply offering a kind voice during a difficult time, our team is here to help guide you with compassion and clarity. We remain committed to the well-being of our patients and appreciate the opportunity to continue providing excellent care.
The BEST psychiatrist I have ever seen. She cares about her patients. She listens to me and I don't feel like she is just there for a check but that she truly wants to help. I have been seeing her for years now and I don't ever want to have to change doctors.
Dr Maddali is extremely intelligent with a high knowledge of the brain. She can pinpoint behaviors based on past trauma and habits, in turn making it easier to understand the why's and how to overcome. This is not an easy process, discovery took about 6 months. Trying to find the right meds/dosage. I do NOT mean anything more than turning emotions into logic. Not heavy duty medications. She responds to all, slipping, breakthroughs, what to watch for, how to get out of anxiety or pain through breathing. Sound simple? Not for someone who has been living this way for decades. I am a better person with our paths crossing and I look forward to the continued care. I read about the front office complaints, that is simply incorrect. The receptionist and all staff are quiet, as people are in counseling. She is so kind and goes out off her way for people in-person or in a call. I think there is more to the stories. If you really want to heal and its time to make the change. Dr. Maddali is ready to work with you in her no-nonsense, here's the facts approach.
I had my PCP send this office a referral and got a phone call from them that I had a limited amount of time to complete intake paperwork and that if I didn’t complete it in time I Dr. Maddali would refuse to see me. As if people needing a psychiatrist didn’t have enough on their plate. If you’re looking for someone that cares and wants to help I would look elsewhere.
Fantastic doctor, terrible staff Dr. Maddali is the best psychiatrist I have been to. She is caring, professional, and really listens. However, I had to stop seeing her because her office staff was terrible. I had to keep co-pay receipts or they’d tell me I hadn’t paid for my last visit. I always paid before I left, while scheduling my next appointment. I said this to the person taking my co-pay and they said “Well you probably ran out of here crying.” I was aghast. I do have issues, but I am not some maniac who runs out of office buildings in the middle of a nervous breakdown. What an incredibly rude and insensitive thing to say in a mental health practice. Then the doctor went on vacation. She assured me my prescriptions were taken care of. My prescriptions were not called in and nobody was answering the phone at her office. I had to find someone else just so I could get my meds. It’s a shame, because Dr. Maddali is fantastic. I hope she’s upgraded her staff.
I can’t even believe I have to leave one star. I would leave zero if I could. Before I begin, just find another medical care provider. The other reviews about the office staff are all true, and Dr. Maddali needs to wake up and see how negatively this is going to affect her practice. As an established patient of close to EIGHT YEARS, the way that this office staff has treated me in the end is absolutely unacceptable. The lack of empathy, hostile ATTITUDE, and straight-up unprofessionalism I’ve experienced from the office manager and front desk receptionist is quite frankly astonishing. People with this type of behavior being allowed to even step foot in a mental health care facility should honestly be studied. I was told after many years of Dr. Maddali accommodating me with telephone appointments that I would need to be seen in person. After calling the front desk and medication refill line for many WEEKS to schedule an in-person appointment, without a single response, I ran out of my medications entirely. I continued to OBVIOUSLY express my frustration with never receiving a call back as an established patient in my voicemails and e-mails. When I finally received a call back from the front-desk, I expressed my frustrations again. I made it clear how difficult it was for me to make in-person appointments since I live on the west coast now, very far from the office, so I will need a specific date/time. I was then met with the ugliest, unprofessional behavior and tone from a receptionist I’ve ever come across. Just nasty!!!!! She even began to make outrageous accusations, telling me I have been “verbally abusive”, and “THREATENING” to their office. I was so taken aback. I didn’t know expressing frustration over not being able to access my mental healthcare provider and obtain the medications NECESSARY FOR ME TO FUNCTION was verbal abuse or threatening behavior. She then refused to allow me to make an appointment, forwarded me to the office manager, who continued to fail at returning any of my calls. Then they both just refused to return my calls or e-mails PERIOD. THIS IS THEIR JOB?! What if I was suicidal? What if me being off my meds caused me to harm myself or others? And I was just being IGNORED. Never once did I receive a call from Dr. Maddali about my concerns. Several days later, I received a letter by certified mail stating they were terminating their professional relationship with me because I HAVE FAILED TO KEEP APPOINTMENTS AT INTERVALS APPROPRIATE FOR CONTINUED CARE??? Even though they refused to allow me to make an appointment or return my calls? They even attached a records release form to the letter.. Which was just a small screenshot of a form attached to the middle of a page. An image so completely ineligible and small, that no medical office would be capable of completing it. They’ve continued to refuse to return my calls. They also attached multiple e-mails they claimed to have sent me in response to my calls to the letter. Too bad they were all sent to THE WRONG E-MAIL address. If they called back, they could’ve confirmed that. The incompetence of this office staff is jarring and should be EXTREMELY concerning for any established or potential patient. It’s truly a shame that the office staff is destroying this practice because Dr. Maddali is a great medical care provider and has done so very much for me and for my family, too, for so many years. I wish her the best of luck. Not you, Patricia.
I am a medical professional, and it took me several years to find a psychiatrist as good as Dr Madalli that I could trust and felt that she really really cares… if there’s a waiting list get your name on it it’s worth the wait . She also refuses to be part of the drive-through McDonald’s medical care system. She is an independent provider and doesn’t answer to ANY mega corporation. SHE is the epitome of CARITAS ethics and good practice.
