Seshurao Kruthiventi's Online Review Report Card

0 stars if possible. Will never be going to this doctor ever again. He was beyond rude and unprofessional and I would never recommend this doctor. He should never be allowed to practice medicine with this poor of bedside manner. Under no circumstances should a doctor yell at a patient having a panic attack.

Unacceptable wait times. My first visit I waited over an hour and a half past my appointment time. Dr. Kruthiventi was unprepared, and did not have my test results available, so we were not able to discuss them. (He is affiliated with the hospital where the tests were performed, and he referred me to his office himself, so I assumed he would have them, or have access to them, as I did not.) My second visit was scheduled for 8 am, for an EMG, to be performed by Dr. Kruthiventi. At 8:47 am I was still waiting. When I asked the staff when my test would happen, I was told the Dr was "behind". At 8 am. I arrived the same time the staff did, how could he possibly be behind?? I asked for my co pay to be refunded, which I am still waiting for, and I left. I will find a new neurologist.

Very thorough, and explains everything. Takes time with each patient and makes you feel valued.

Dr. Kruthiventi is extremely arrogant. He appears to be good with patients that have been diagnosed already, but may be afraid to actually execute a diagnosis himself (at least within the V.A.). Has a massive ego problem. Dr. Kruthiventi does NOT LISTEN to the patient, example: asked if I had any siblings, I responded "I have 2 brothers and 3 sisters. I am the youngest of 6 kids" in his notes (that I requested a copy of) stated I have "6 siblings". He described me as "obsessed" in his notes because I want CT scan of my brain. I am seriously concerned about my brains condition from a parachute deploying (a BLAST) on my HEAD whilst inverted (upside-down) after a bad exit from an aircraft at 1200', in 1997. He noted that it was in 1978, which would have made me seven years old. I am hoping that was a typo. Why would this doctor be hesitant to order a CT scan? Is he paying for it? Am I taking food off of his table? I paid for it with my service to my country, and as a combat veteran (Gulf War). Told him I had extreme headache for YEARS after. He noted as months. His notes state that I have NO memory loss, I WAS INFORMING HIM OF MY MEMORY LOSS WHEN HE INTERRUPTED ME TO TELL ME HE WAS "A 'BRAIN DOCTOR', NOT A 'MIND DOCTOR'." I found him to be very condescending and arrogant. He implied that I have a mental health issue because of my outward distressed appearance. To clarify, the look on my face was me restraining myself from punching him in his throat for what he said to me. This Dr. looked in my eyes with his scope and told me I don't have any swelling of my brain, so I am O.K. NEWSFLASH: It happened 16 & 1/2 years ago! I should hope the swelling went down! Exactly how does the V.A. compensate these specialty doctors? Do they get less of a bonus for every successful C&P claim that is associated with their office? I am suspicious of any government doctor, yes. I am not paranoid, though. I have met some that are very helpful and caring, despite my apprehensions. Many of the staff at this VA hospital are awesome! But, not Dr. K. He doesn't take my concern seriously, I do NOT trust him. He told me that ONLY HE can read my CT scan. That is very arrogant and egotistical, as the imaging specialists know how to read it, as I am sure that other neurologists outside of the VA can and WILL read the CT scan that he didn't want me to get in the first place. I have to wait for him to come back from vacation (2 weeks) to review the CT scan. He doesn't want me to schedule an appointment though, just to drop by. I am assuming that if I don't schedule a follow up appointment that it can be documented that it wasn't actually looked at or that anything will be actually diagnosed. It wonâ??t be â??on the booksâ??. He said he will personally look at the CT scan and call me personally if he had any concerns. Also, he stated that if there were no abnormalities, he would not call. Why not just call me either way? He gave himself an excuse to not even look at it with a pre-loaded preface that nothing was wrong in the first place. With his all-knowing attitude, he's already decided that I don't need a CT scan; therefore the CT scan that I forced him to order is just fine without the good doctor even looking at it. I looked at the symptoms and I fear that I do have mild Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) I don't want there to be anything wrong with my brain, but if there is; I WANT TO KNOW. I also want to know that this guy TRIED. I also wish that I knew that he cared as much about my brain that he does about his PRIDE and EGO.

I found him to be dismissive & arrogant. I would never consult him again.

Great doctor easy to talk to and had lots of info for me.

I have been a patient of Dr. Kruthiventi since spring of 2009 and diagnosed with MS later that year. Yes, there were times I had to wait longer then I wanted to, but all in all, I like him and trust his advise.

Ever since the first time I saw/met Dr. Kruthiventi, he has ALWAYS blessed me with his obvious personal interest and concern for my health. He is very personable, which is always my own desire for all of my doctors; that I can have a friendly conversation with them, about general topics like my personal goals, fond memories, etc... Dr. Kruthiventi has ALWAYS blessed me with his own sincere humility & care! My Highest Praise for Dr. Kruthiventi!

I really felt like Dr. Kruthiventi was interested in my illness (Parkinson's) and how I was progressing through it. He was especially conscientious in getting the medication correctly prescribed.

Dr K. is a good man, very professional, and caring MD. He may come across to some patients as cold and uncaring but I believe that is at least in part a languang problem. Get to know him and you will get along just fine.
