List of Wasim Niazi's Reviews
ordered needless tests and was arrogant and hard to talk to
Dr. Niazi is a brilliant neurologist. This is the third neurologist I‘ve seen since I had my stroke. I’ve been having pain from the beginning but he knew how to get rid of it. Thank you Dr. Niazi!
Have been going to Dr. Niazi for about 15 years. He is not only a great doctor but I have trusted him with my life all of this time. He is patient listening to me and never in a rush to leave. Many times he has had to change medications which is normal. I started seeing him with an issue and over the years I had more health issues. He always followed up . He has been kind, compassionate and much more.. I have been blessed to know him and so grateful that I had him as my doctor
DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! First visit he said I could have epilepsy without even doing testing. He also gave me medication that would help but it was actually a seizure medication that should help with my headaches he said. He ran a MRI and EEG. He told me I had epilepsy and I was having seizures in the middle of the night. I took the medication per his advice but tht was a mistake then I really started having seizures FROM THE MEDICATION!! I was tired from not being able to drive and dependent on others. My partner had lost me emotionally. It was so bad my body had begun to have a reaction to the medication. I had fever, high heart rate, dilated pupils, sweats, chills, stomachache, and didn't want to eat anymore. I had a hammer in my hand in the garage that I was about to hit myself in the head with when my partner stopped me. I called my pharmicist with directions to taper off of the medication as I didn't trust this office to help me. I got a second opinion and guess what I didn't have any indication of epilepsy on the two EEG's performed!! Stay away from Quack Dr. Niazi!!! STAY AWAY! STAY AWAY!
I have been than pleased with Dr. Niazi. He has always addressed any medical issues I have had. I have had two strokes, neuropathy, and epilepsy. I had difficulties with one drug I was prescribed but when I discussed it with him I was prescribed another medicine which I continues to help me.
Usually about 15 minutes. He has been my Dr. for about 15 years. I have tremors and he has them under control. Also migraines and they are under control. I am very happy with my treatment and have never had a problem with his staff.
I so much appreciate Dr. Niazi! And,team!Very pleasant,and helpful,I know I am in good hands! Pleasant,staff: thorough,and pleasant! I trust,Dr.Niazi,with my concerns!Thank you all!
After they made me pay over $300 for an office visit when my copay was only $35, I was concerned. When he wanted to do a EEG without a correct diagnosis I was Really concerned! When my insurance company told me they owed me that money back, they laughed and told me they didn't Care what the insurance company said. As of this date, I'm still trying to be reimbursed. Stay AWAY!
My complaint is not with the Dr but with his staff. The rudest people ever!!! They charged my husband $208 for an office visit (which he paid) and we only have a $35 copay. I tried to explain to them that we only should be paying $35 cp. The front desk girl was so rude and basically yelling at me. The girl then put me on hold for 10 mins and another girl, said she was the office manager, karen or kim, something like that picked up and just torn into me about how this is what is due and they checked with BCBS. And he would owe another $200 for todays visit. I tried to explain that I spoke with BCBS and he only owes $35 for the copay. She kept talking over me and would not let me get a word in. I said I would gladly get BCBS on the phone to verify this and then she said it did not matter what BCBS said that it was office policy to collect that and that is how it was going to be. I was getting no where and I can not believe how rude she was so I hung up and called BCBS and the rep verified that he only owed $35 for the office visit, the rep then called the office and verified that we should of only paid $35. Office Manager lied and stated to rep that it was for another procedure that the deductible applied to. That is not so since they also collected over $200 for that one also. They still have not given us our money back. Worst office ever!!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
