William Knappenberger's Online Review Report Card

Always been happy with the care he has given my son. Very friendly, never rushed. Does not do unnecessary procedures. 5 stars without a doubt!!!

Absolutely unacceptable!

Horrible place. Some of the staff are nice util you find out about the frauds in this place with billing and service. Advice!...Your child can be seen by a A.R.N.P a (Practicetional Nurse?) not a Doctor. The Dr just get pay. What a business!. The name of the clinic is Pedriatric of Brevard. But watch out! Your child would never see a pedriatric. What a Scam. You have to choose one of the Dr register to get pay but your child never will see that Dr. It is just about money. This clinic never take a second health insurance plan. So that mean that if the primary insurance don't pay for the services. You will end paying a huge bill but they don't explain that to you. Then you will have to see a horrible mean lady for billing that this clinic trained her to be disrespectful and rude in order to recover bill payments. I will be so embarrassed having her job. If you can't pay the bill. The manager from medical billing will tell you than you can't take your kids there no more util you pay the bill. You have to find a new clinic if you can't pay that bill. The staff in front desk look that they hate their job. The really need a customer service training. They need to be more organized and in the same page. They should work in a funeral home. They look so depressed. Everything here is about money. They don't care about your child health. There is no morality in this place they try to be professional but they just have a license to scam and to lie. I hope they close this. It not a improvement for this community. This is not a clinic it just a another office for frauds.

Figured I would share this over here as it seems they are getting a little crafty with their reviews considering their prior "Pediatrics in Brevard" account was such poorly reviewed, good luck seeing Kanppenberger, he's why we went but only saw him once out of at least 20 or so visits (he is great btw): The Wal-Mart of Pediatrics, if you want to be treated like a number and herded like cattle this is the place for you and your family! The staff turnover here is terrible. Over the 5 years we had our daughter here her Dr. / ARNP was changed about 5 times. Every time a change occurred we were never notified, or given an option of who to see next, always having to find out at the last minute at the actual visit. Be prepared for excessive wait times – every time. Appointments here don’t mean a hill of beans. Be prepared to wait in the waiting room for an hour or more, and then at least another 30 minutes when you get into a room. But don’t dare show up more than 15 minutes late for your “scheduled” appointment – there’s a fee for that. It’s obvious their time is more important than yours. Also, they will run unnecessary “tests” on your children, all to receive a bill in the mail months later. They claim they don’t know what insurance pays at the time of the appointment (I find this very hard to believe this day in age). Oh and you better pay the bill, if not they will keep sending you statements (that you never asked for), and watch out – there’s a fee for that (each statement). Even though they know you’ll be back in 6 months or under for a checkup, they will keep sending you letters to pay, all to rack up your bill. It is truly a shame, as we met some good people here, most of them the actual medical staff. However this place is a great example of how corporate greed can ruin a well-intentioned business/practice.

Friendly, knowledgeable and have patience. Willing to answer all your questions and doesnt rush you. Always has smile on his face no matter. I will be sad when his retirement comes because im afraid i wont find another doctor Like Knappenberger.

Wonderful doctor! Dr. Knappenberger has such a fantastic personality and his ability to connect with kids is exceptional. He even called me himself one night to see how my daughter was doing after a sick visit. This is not a common occurrence with today's doctors. I truly believe he genuinely cares about his patients, which is an invaluable quality for a doctor to have. My only complaint is that there is one particular receptionist that can be quite rude, but I'll put up with it for Dr. K!

I have been bringing my kids here since 1998 and this has been the best doctors office ever. When your kids are sick, they will slide you in the schedule same day! Dr. Knappenberger is awesome! He has a great personality and works well with the kids and their families. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else! I highly recommend this place!!!

My daughter who is a teenager went to brevard pediatrics for an appointment. When she was checking out they told her they were not sure of the copay amount and would send the bill for the services after billing insurance. 2 weeks later I got a bill for 40 dollars copay and 25 dollar late fee. when called and asked about the late fee the staff were rude and arrogant and said it is the patients responsibility to know what their copay is and pay it at time of service. I am not sure how they would feel if I charged them a late fee when you sit and wait at the pediatricians office waiting for a doctor after getting an appointment for a certain time. They just process people and have a bunch of MA who do the interview and vitals and lock you up in a room for 30 mins sometimes even upto an hour before a MD walks in to check your child

We love Dr Knappenberger!! He is kind, speaks to our grandaughter like a small person, gets down to her level so she can see him. He knows kids!!! She calls him "Dr. Burger!!"

We have been with Dr Knappenberger for 11 years and we could not make it without him. Our child was diagnosis 9 years ago with a life threatening disease. Dr Knappenberger was very aware of the disease, he had my son diagnosed in a few minutes, and had him in the hospital immediately with the best doctors available. He is very compassionate and truly cares for the whole child and his family. We are very blessed to have him in our community.
