Dr. Odina is simply amazing. She is such a nurturing soul, is always so kind and sincerely caring. She has a way of soothing you and your child. We are so lucky to have her as my kids doctor.

Nice and caring overall or presents as such. Told me to give daughter more medicine than recommended when having fever. I gave the exact dose per bottle. Started because they gave my daughter a different vaccine than previous visit. I noticed on portal. They were trying to say my child was sick beforehand which was false. Later was told they checked inventory and I was correct. Not an antivaxxer but it seems like once you ask a question they think I want to refuse things. Child is up to date but providers seem to not be. They didn’t offer rotavirus for example. I was told I declined. Then she checks record and oh yeah we didn’t offer and she’s older now so doesn’t need it. Umm ok. Why would you say I declined. This is why parents are not vaccinating their children. You make it seem like the vaccine wasn’t necessary. Also she needs to specify suspension dosing when saying take X medicine dosage . If I didn’t have an ounce of common sense could have over medicated baby based on amount she was saying and what was on the bottle. I wouldn’t because it didn’t make sense and should have told her but let it go. Again nice person and we never had conflict. Edit: To clarify medication dosage. She told me give gixe extra for the fever. Fever was high and the nurse was like somethings not right. So when the doctor called I told her Tylenol isn't working can I use ibuprofen. She told me yes and give extra. Scary in pediatrics, there no extra that's outside of therapeutic range and I know no one is documenting that they told me give extra. No I didn't share this I just knew I would give what's on the bottle. One dose of ibuprofen knocked it out... Suspension secondly is important because it's 50 to 1ml or 100 to 1ml I believe ( depending on infant or children's bottle). So I asked her initially what to give based on weight, my old doc did it based on weight and we use weight With children. She told me a dosage more in line with children's ibuprofen but the amount isn't on any of the manufactures bottle on the market , because how much she said the syringe doesn't account for. Either way it would be too much. Please clarify with your child's doctor on med doasges. When I went to get the ibuprofen from the store I realized oh she should clarify which suspension. Not just tell me the milliliters to take. I won't list dosage as not important and it doesn't exist. It's literally extra.

My son have been seeing Dr. Odina for 10 years. She's thorough and easy to talk to. She really know how to talk to the kids. I don't have to say much. My son and Dr. Odina will talk as if I'm not there. She don't rush you nor force anything on you. I would definitely recommend Dr. Odina to anyone looking for a dependable, trustworthy, and knowledgeable pediatrician.

Dr Nwankwo is the best! I don’t believe 5 stars is even enough to rate her greatness. She is so sweet and down to earth. She makes me and my son feel so comfortable. She treats my son like really cares about him and not as if my son is just another patient. I truly wish she would have been his doctor a long time ago. I recently moved and have a office that is a little closer but still will take the drive to be seen by her. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent doctor for their child. You will be in the best of hands with her .
