My husband passed away at LifePath Hospice this week. His passing was gentle and peaceful. I cannot praise the staff more for making him and the family as comfortable as possible. He was in no pain and breathing very gently until he was breathing no more.Thank God for putting these nurse angels on this earth.
I wanted to take a minute to write a review and give a shout out to a couple of exceptional nurses and a tremendously welcoming receptionist. We recently had the misfortune of having to put a dear loved one in hospice care. Nikki and Lita were beacons of light during a very dark time. They were so noteworthy because of the dignity and kindness that showed our loved one. They went so far above why they had to do. They treated me like a welcomed guest in their own home ensuring more only our loved one was comfortable but that we had everything we needed when we spent the night etc. There were others who would simply turn her and perform their duties effectively but seemed like it was simply a job. Seeing individuals who would not only tend to her but talk softly to her in her ear caress or touch her every single time they entered the room and would inform her what they were about to do even when she had stopped responding at all. She had been a nurse herself for 41 years and she left this world being shown the love and compassion that she deserved and dedicated her life to in her personal life and in her profession. It’s also worth mentioning the receptionist was so very welcoming. Several family members discussed at different times how nice is was to be greeted with such a warm smile. Often remembering family members names. During this period of covid it was reassuring how seriously she took in following protocol. Too many times people who give the first impression are overlooked or not acknowledged for their contributions. I apologize I don’t remember your receptionist name but deserves a heartfelt thank you from us and a raise from you. LOLThanks again to the staff and to Dr. Fernandez for keeping us well informed as we watched someone wonderful slip away from us.
ALL of the staff were so sweet and kind to my family and my grandmother who was a patient with them. Even when she was in her last stages and was asleep they were always comforting her and speaking kindly to her when they had to give her meds a bath or adjusting her body position. They all went above and beyond to make sure our experience was about as good as it could be there. My grandma just passed on Dec 19 and we are so grateful for everything they did for the week she was there.
I have nothing but positive things to say about Life Path. Everyone communicated efficiently people arrived on time and when they DID arrive they were competent and compassionate. It cannot be overstated how invaluable it is to have experienced and caring people by your side as you try to navigate what is obviously a painful and delicate process. Very grateful for their help.
Outstanding service with Life Path. My husband was on hospice for a short amount of time before he passed. Although the service length was short. All the staff were very professional showed up when they said they were going to. Pleasant and very helpful. My mother passed 7 months ago and I wished we were treated right and received this type of service with Vitas. But unfortunately were not.
The staff was awesome they took very good care of my husband while he was there.
They are the best
Ive dealt with Hospice in the home before and they were wonderful. My mom has been in the home under hospice care since the beginning of the year. A nurse has only been to the house twice An aide would make arrangements to show and ended up being a no show. Ive never been so disgusted in my life. I will be asking Medicare for the billing records.
My mother was admitted to the Hospice House after discharge from the hospital and I cant say enough good things about the care she received and the helpful staff. They explained how they were going to handle her breathing issues to keep her comfortable kept our family informed as her condition deteriorated and were supportive throughout my mothers final days. It was my first experience with hospice care and I was very pleased during the tremendously trying stressful and devastating loss of my mother.
I unfortunately had several dealings with hospice in general all very good however life path hospice is the worse. When caring for my mom I would get mixed advice but the employees I dealt with appeared to have more faith in taking my mom to the hospital then their own facility. They are NEVER available when you need them. I was told they offer home care but there was NEVER enough staff. My mom suffered at at their indecisiveness.Choose another hospice for your loved one PLEASE

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
