Absolutely wonderful ! She is knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and truly cares for the well-being of her patient. I waited a long time to get an appointment, but she was worth the wait. I never feel rushed because she is willing to take the time to talk with me so that I feel comfortable and that she answered all my questions. She is the best! Thank you for your expertise.

I needed a primary care doctor so I made a new patient appointment which was a couple months out but so worth the wait! Dr Mattia was so friendly, down to earth and caring. She really took her time with me and seemed to genuinely care about my health. The office was clean, her staff was friendly and I waited no more than 5 min to get back and be seen. She's great!

Both my husband and I have been seeing Dr. Mattia as our primary since we moved to the area 7+ years ago. She is truly a caring physician who never rushes through your medical appt, listens carefully to what you have to say and will make referrals to other specialists when she feels it is necessary.

I recently moved out of the Palm Harbor area. I now live an hour and 45 minutes away. Every time I think I want to find a closer doctor I hesitate because Dr. Mattia is the best. Whenever I finish an appointment with her I tell myself that she is definitely worth the drive. I never feel like she is rushing through the appointment to get to her next one. She is thorough and knowledgeable. Her “bedside” manner is wonderful. I highly recommend her. She may be tough to get in to see. Good luck.

I’ve been seeing dr. Mattia since she started. The baycare system has ruined her practice along with the teenagers running the office. Unless my appointment is scheduled months in advance, I can’t get in and have to go to walk-in for acute issues. She has too many patients. And FYI, Baycare requires their docs to see 35-40 patients per day. If you’re healthy, that’s fine. But when you’re older, health issues like cancer will be overlooked. I’m leaving the baycare system because my life depends on it

What a joke. Just called this place for a new appointment and was told by staff that the first available appointment for a "new patient" is August 2018. That is 14 months away. Who in their right mind would wait 14 months for any doctor. Maybe you should just close the practice to new patients. Unacceptable and rude. Couldn't pay me to go to this place now. No thanks.

Her website says she is accepting new patients. I called and was told she is accepting new patients and her first available appointment is January 2018!! Yes, you read that right...2018!!

She is a wonderful doctor. She is honest and does not complicate your visit. She does what needs to be done and will answer any questions you may have and not make it seem like she is in a hurry to get to her next patient. Awesome physican.
