Definitely 0 star if I could make 0 Men Beware Found Dr Richman of Advanced Urology in 2021 with difficulty urinating and Prostate issues. Advanced Urology and Dr Richman were more concerned about selling me a snake oil procedure than actually helping, the Rezum water treatment therapy. I was sold on the fact it would help. Stating it was the next best thing. It is not. As I came to the office procedure he was irritated, in a hurry for the staff to go home because the Urology Surgery center only allows a small window of time to do a procedure before charging more money causing the doctor to rush the procedure. I was not informed I needed a ride and he would not preform the procedure until my ride arrived. Allowing for the numbness to wear off leaving me screaming in excruciating pain during the entire procedure Rezum water vapor therapy. . Now I have worse symptoms of bph and have side effects because of the Rezum treatment and he would not follow up with me after this experience. Because after I had asked how much out the door it cost. I paid what I was told my part would be. Months later when I had an appointment, they would not see me because they were charging me more causing me to lose additional follow up care. Now after losing my insurance, I am left suffering the after effects with no one who will take the responsibility of a faulty procedure. . It has left me now with a damaged prostate, damaged my testicle operation, painful and difficulty urinating, worse symptoms than when I had previously come in for. As well as Suffering from long term side effects from prescription medication. . I would never, ever refer anyone to Dr Richman or Advanced Urology unless they would like to be treated as a transaction, not a patient. Our Medical System is Flawed and Patients do not matter at Advanced Urology. Profiting off of human guinea pigs is the goal leaving you robbed, maimed, disserviced and damaged for life with no remorse or reimbursement, unless you pay more money for the service rendered leaving me damaged .. on to the next victim, in your revolving transactional service. BUYER BEWARE I am looking into acquiring a lawyer to bring about a class action law suit. Anyone interested may contact me at jamoore1962@aol.com
POOR POOR POOR! LIAR LIAR LIAR NEVER TALKED TO ME ABOUT MY SURGERY AFTER MY SURGERY. NEVER MADE ME A FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENT TO GO OVER MY CONDITION. SENT ME TO THE ABSOLUTE WORST SURGERY CENTER! THEY WOKE ME UP INSTEAD OF LETTING ME WAKE UP ON MY OWN. PISSED ME OFF LIKE YOU COULD IMAGINE. WHICH BY THE WAY ON MY FIRST MEETING WITH THIS PERSON, I TOLD HIM THAT THE LAST POS SURGERY CENTER DID THE SAME THING AND IT PISSED ME OFF THEM TOO! IN ONE EAR AND OUT THE OTHER. IT LIKE I WAS TALKING TO THE WALL!!! TO BE HONEST, I'VE HABE BLADDER CANCER (which he could care less). I've have to keep on seeing different doctors EVERY 6 months. In ALL of the different medical fields, Urologist are the LEAST EMPATHETIC Out of all the other doctors. And the MOST FCULL OF CRAP!
Doctor Richman was a patient listener the first visit. He later performed a HOLEP procedure on me and the results were very good. I only get up once a night instead of four. I am no longer constantly worried about where a bathroom is when I go someplace.
Dr. Richman is a thorough professional competent kind caring doctor. He did a thorough work up and he’s doing comprehensive treatment.
Dr. Richman is prepared for the appointment does a thorough work up And provides comprehensive treatment. He listens to the patient is reasonable and I’m so grateful I found him
Dr. Richman, in a word, is AWESOME!!! He is a very intelligent, skilled doctor, that instills confidence in his patients. I had a significant urological issue after knee replacement surgery (go figure) and he quickly diagnosed and successfully treated my problem. I never felt rushed, he always answered my questions completely, and calmed any fears I had. Also, he has a top-notch staff, Sam (Nurse Practitioner) and Krista(?) his medical assistant. I've referred several members of my church to Dr. Richman and they all are concur that he is a excellent doctor. So happy that I was treated by Dr. Richman - he's the best!
Dr. Martin Richman is awesome - 5-star doctor, for sure!!! He is intelligent , experienced, very professional, and an extremely skilled doctor. I was referred to him by members of my church - great referral - and I have since referred friends and acquaintances that all feel the same way I do. He makes you comfortable and confident in his treatment. Plus his staff, Sam (nurse practitioner), and Krista (medical assistant) are, in a word, awesome. Very professional, and skilled in their functions, plus just really nice people that also make you comfortable and confident. Love Dr. Richman and his staff, an excellent doctor. Wouldn't see anyone else! Thanks Dr. Richman for fixing me!!! Frank S. LOL FL
My scheduled visit was 10/29/20. I came early with my paperwork completed online. I was recovering from a knee replacement and had a catheter for the past 7 weeks. Very weak and was using a walker. I am also scheduled for back surgery in January, and cannot stand or walk more than 5- 10 minutes. The receptionist told my wife she could not accompany me to see the doctor - unless I needed an interpreter, or was mentally incompetent, no and if or buts. The receptionist and by this time another staff member were very aggressively telling her no, and demanding I come stand at the window and answer questions (I was sitting in a chair 6 feet from her). I told her my back was hurting and due to medicine I was taking I needed my wife to make hear the doctor's diagnosis. She said that this was policy and that staff makes the call, which was still no. I've been in the emergency room 3 times this year and have seen dozens of doctors in the recent past. I have never been treated with such

I've been in the emergency room 3 times this year and have seen dozens of doctors in the recent past. I have never been treated with such contempt or aggression by medical staff in my 69 years. I made the decision on the spot - that if the staff treats patients this way I don't want to be part of this and walked out. Subsequently, I was accepted, at the Mayo Clinic, for the same procedure. Boy, what a difference in staff interaction and professionalism.
I have been coming to Dr Richman for several years- he and his staff are extremely thorough and a caring.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
