Dr. Small is a top notch surgeon! As an acute care RN, I can confidently recommend his care. He goes above and beyond for his patients to ensure their successful recovery. He is precise and meticulous in his surgical expertise AND his recovery and aftercare. Once you are a surgical patient of Dr. Small, then you are his for the long haul. His personal office assiatant, Leeann is kind and compassionate and available to you even years out from surgery, to answer questions and liasion between you and Dr. Small for any questions. As a team, they work seemlessly together for their patient's greater good - and a no nonesense approach to care means that you have all the tools you need to succeed!

Dr Small saved my life after colon resection. Coming from New York I don’t trust physicians. He is the best. I feel great after surgery and I would recommend him to family and friends. I’m a registered nurse for 44 years I like perfection. I absolutely love him. I hope he gets to see my message

PROS: kind, personable, confident, clarified procedure and above all, amazing result. My gallbladder issue took a turn to the worst pretty fast and I was blessed and lucky to be seen by him. Gallbladder removal was needed and he performed as superbly as I had expected. I am very very picky about surgeons but trust me, he is right up there with the best I have been lucky enough to encounter. I guess my angel son is looking out for me after all. Thank you Dr GREAT, "Small " doesn't even come close, you are the boss ! 😘😘 CONS : none whatsoever ! Dude is superb !

Referred to Dr Small by my gastroenterologist in 2021 for a repair of a paraesophageal hernia. He has a great bedside manor and I was 100% comfortable with him performing my surgery. LeAnn, his assistant was wonderful as well. Surgery went off without a hitch. He is a great surgeon and a wonderful person. If you need gastro surgery, look no further, Dr Small is your guy!

Office calls me 8 months after being seen to tell me I owe $250 because, “I’ve reached my limit on doctors visits.” This after my $50 copay. I have outstanding insurance and have had no issues before or after. For whatever reason their business office made an error processing or coding and they expect me to pay for their error.

Dr small is the best. He did surgery on my daughter and I can’t thank him enough for his meticulous work. His bedside manner and his thoroughness is much appreciated
