I really appreciated the chance to go from inperson visit to telemedia visit on fairly short notice. I called with a same day request and was able to have my follow up with Dr. Zeien without having to go to his office. That is a true benefit of a good primary care provider.

Somewhat ok at first. As time went on he pondered what was on the computer with very minimal interaction with me. As a courtesy I notified the office when we were moving out of the area about 2 hours away. Subsequently got a letter ending our relationship oh so not true. When we moved back to the area I went to his office to make a return appointment to be told that the system would allow me an appointment. Talked with the office manager. Told her I didnt appreciate the way the matter was handled specifically the letter when I was the one to let them know about my moving. She changed my status in the system. Ultimately did not make an appointment based on prior poor doctorpatient experience and the way they handled my leaving the practice. Thats the last time I let a doctors office know my status as far as being or not being part of the practice.

Dr Zeien has been my primary care doc for several years. There is a lot to like about him and his office. I am a very educated person about medicine and he and I discuss things well. He is very much on top of current guidelines and can be appropriately persistent about recommendations. Overall he pays attention and tries hard to work within what his patient is or is not willing to do.

Visits are always very cordial detailed and leave me feeling comforted that all of my questions were answered or that the information provided was concise and understandable.

If you dont mind not being able to see the doctor for months even if youre declining in health Zeien is your guy. The PAs are no real help so youre pretty much out of luck if your condition deteriorates. The indignant attitude is as far from a patientcentric approach as it could be.
