My gastro Dr. retired in December & I was referred to Dr. Ahmadi. First he did an endoscopy with instructions to see him in 2 weeks. Borland Groover had no appointments for 6 weeks. I called to see if my Barrett's pre-cancerous cells had progressed & he had Talisha tell me I didn't have Barrett's & not to worry. When I had her check my previous scope she admitted that I did have it. Next visit I made sure to go over every condition I had (even though all the diagnosis & tests were in my records) from lupus to liver disease & all the ways the PPI medication was making me sick. He didn't listen & prescribed another PPI. When I read the instruction pamphlet, it clearly stated under warnings: this may cause lupus. First precaution listed was don't take if you have liver disease or lupus!!! Needless to say, I didn't take the medication & called Talisha. Heard back from her 2 days later & she told he wanted me to immediately discontinue the med. & come in & talk. First appointment was 6 weeks away. Don't risk your health or sanity...avoid Dr. Ahmadi & Borland Groover.

My gastroenterologist retired & I was referred to Dr. Ahmadi. Early this year, he did my annual endoscopy for Barrett's Esophagus. I was supposed to see him in 2 weeks, but 1st available was 6 weeks after the scope. I called to get results of biopsies & he had his assistant Talisha tell me that, "I didn't have Barrett's & not to worry." I had her check last year's scope & she was surprised to see Barrett's along with pre-cancerous changes. At the next appointment I carefully went over my medical issues & tests recently done, (even though it was all in his records) from lupus to liver disease. I explained severe problems I was having with PPI med & asked for an H2 blocker. He just prescribed another PPI. When I picked it up there were no instructions on how to take. I read the literature in the container & it clearly warned, "May cause lupus.". First precaution, "Don't take if you have liver disease or Lupus." Needless to say, I didn't take it. I will not being going back to Dr. Ahmadi

Dr. Ahmadi explained everything in a manner I could understand. He wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the procedure and fully understood the potential risks involved. Was very caring nice and patient with .my family.

I’ve been a pt. under Dr Amahdi for a few yrs now. I am a Veteran w/TBI & PTSD. My GI & Med/Psych Hxs’ are complex & I am a high risk for GI dx’s Dr Amahdi is a compassionate MD whom I have full confidence trust. The support staff has always been pleasant & competent.
