He tried to contradict the trouble I had after the surgery. At one point he was rude.

I had a very positive experience with Dr. Hund. He thoroughly explained options for corrective lenses following cataract surgery, and I was able to read without glasses the morning after my first eye was done. I am highly pleased with the outcome, and found the Eye Center's nurses and technicians professional and well trained.

Dr. Hund examined me for maybe two minutes and then told me I had cataracts and needed surgery. He told me surgery would mean no more need for glasses or contacts. He and his staff pushed me to schedule surgery immediately and said not needing glasses or contacts would save me money. When I had a chance to read the literature they gave me, I found on page 3 this: "you will likely still need glasses." I'm getting a 2nd opinion. This doctor is not board certified. No way is he operating me.

I have gone back several times to see Dr.Hund due to eye irriation,dry eye,floaters and red eye. I also informed him that my vision was worse than what it was before the surgery. I told him that he had told me on my inital visit that my eye sight I would be 100% better after the cataract surgery. The lenses he put in where for distance which I did not have a problem with. I also told him i have a history of sigmatism, he told me I did not.

My regular opthamologist was no longer with the practice, and I had to see the eye doctor because of infection in my eye. I was schedule to see Dr. Hund at 8:45 a.m. One hour and 15 minutes later, I saw the doctor. Needless to say I was extremely frustrated (as I took time from work) and had a hard time understanding how an 8:45 appointment turned into a 10:00am appointment.

Dr. Hund is a talented, caring, professional practitioner. He will spend as much time with you as necessary. He has done two surgeries on me with great results. He is very approachable and gave me both his cellphone and home numbers, and personal email address.
