Stephanie Garrison's Online Review Report Card

My family has nothing but positive things to say about our experience at Mayo clinic with Dr. Garrison. The staff have been terrific and accommodating. Three generations of my family see Dr. Garrison and we trust her completely. We have had not one bad experience in our many, many visits to the office. I feel that my healthcare has been much better since I’ve been seeing her. I completely disagree with the negative reviews, and wonder if they even saw the same doctor???

Love Dr. Garrison. I’ve been seeing her for years. She sees my daughter as well. Bad reviews are completely inaccurate and obviously written by the same Internet troll on multiple sites (you can tell by the dates). Makes me angry to see someone badmouth my doctor. I feel like she’s family, I’ve been in the office so many times due to my health issues. She has even contacted me over the weekend with results of my testing when she knew I was nervous. I wouldn’t see anyone else, and neither would most of my friends.

My husband and I have seen Dr. Garrison for over 12 years. She is by far, the best doctor that we’ve ever had. She is actually the first female doctor my husband has ever used and he will not see anyone else now. She has always been empathetic, compassionate, and makes sure we understand everything that is discussed at our visits. We have never experienced any of the issues that the one reviewer has complained about in three separate reviews. Many of my friends use Dr. Garrison, and we all refer new acquaintances to her. The only downside, is that it can take a while to get into see her as a new patient because she’s so popular. I would not trust anyone else with our healthcare. I hate to see an angry person leaving multiple bad reviews, so I felt compelled to write one myself.

Amazing experience with Dr. Garrison and Mayo Clinic. Wouldn’t use any other doctor.

I went a few times and will never go back. She likes to run a lot of tests, but when you need help in any other way, forget it.

She wouldn’t refill my Perscriptions and lied and said she gave me other referrals to do so. I asked for a Neuropsychologist due to a head injury and she said Mayo didn’t have any. Referred me outside of Mayo to a Neurologist and a Psychologist. She told me all Psychologist specialize in Head Injury. They don’t! FYI Mayo does have Neuropsychologists. Also Orlando has a TBI Unit.

Dr. Garrison is absolutely the worst medical doctor I’ve had the misfortune of dealing with. She is extremely arrogant, a very poor listener and routinely insists on unnecessary repeat visits for the sole purpose of padding Mayo Clinic’s pockets. Do yourself a favor and seek medical attention elsewhere.

The esteemed Mayo Clinic boasts female doctors with chips on their shoulders, repeatedly bills patients for services not rendered and constantly demands unnecessary follow-up visits for the sole purpose of billing patients for unnecessary office visits. The dispute system is worthless with six months of repeated “reviews” that result in zero resolution. Case in point: I made an appointment for an annual exam for the purpose of securing two Rx refills for medications I’ve been taking for many years. I was billed for a myriad of services that did not take place and received Rx refills for 6 months rather than the full year. Do yourself a favor. Stay far away from the very unethical Mayo Clinic.

She's kind of just a robot that does referrals and writes prescriptions. I like Mayo in general but I am starting to think their PCPs only exist to drive business to the specialists at the main campus.
