Not the best
Our experience with Dr. Bhatia has ben exceptionally good. My wife needed an endoscopy and Dr Bhatia did the procedure. My interaction with him before the procedure and after the procedure was excellent. A few days later he called to inquire about my wife's health and offered some valuable advice. Sincere thanks to Dr Bhatia from the Kapoor Family. Dr. Krishna D Kapoor
Excellent
HORRIBLE. This doctor is one of the rudest people I have met in my life. Horrible bedside manner. Treated me like I was a child (I’m 33) and as if my pain or concerns weren’t real. Would not recommend to anyone ever. Horrible doctor and terrible person in general.
Horrible!! Horrible Doctor!!! Stay away!!! He thinks that his poop don’t stink and what he says is the only way. If I could give 0 stars I would. Unprofessional!!! INSENSITIVE!! His a joke. Doesn’t act like a DOCTOR!!
Poor communication. Insensitive to patient’s disposition and family’s concerns.
He performed a colonoscopy & endoscopy on me while admitted in the hospital and gave my results as IBS, when I tried to inquire more he replied "when my car is broke, I don't question the mechanic. I'm the doctor and this is what I say!" then he promptly turned around and walked out of the room. I'd been having bloody stools and vomiting for 5 days along with horrendous abdominal pain. Needless to say I had to be transferred to another general surgeon for care.
Such a great Specialist. My care and well-being was his first priority. I felt very welcomed and his compassion for helping other exemplifies in his everyday procedure. 5/%
Will never go back to this doctor!!! He seems knowledgeable, yet not too caring and had a nervous outburst when I asked for a copy of my test results (to keep at home). He recommended that I have an endoscopy and asked for some money IN ADVANCE!!!! I have never heard of a doc asking for money up front for something he will do in a few weeks!!!Well, long story short, I paid $50 in advance. After insurance adjustments & payments his bill came up to $13, which means he owed me $37. HE STILL OWES IT TO THIS DAY! His billing office sent me a bill for about a year, for $13, and although I have called numerous times, it was long before they fixed the problem. Still waiting on the refund...
The visit with Dr. Bhatia himself went well. Wait time was fine and his consult was rather canned however, my goal was simply a preventative care sigmoidoscopy. Dr. Bhatia was very professional and I had high faith in his ability to perform this procedure. Unfortunately, the office's no plastic (credit card or ATM debit card) policy was rather offputting as - when I made the appointment for the procedure - I was asked how I was going to pay the $500 deductible. I understand that doctors are not typically philanthropic organizations however, there seemed to be an undue amount of pressure to ensure I would pay before the procedure was scheduled. I went around a bit with the doctor's wife (his office assistant) and after several phone calls and more pressure than I care to deal with in a situation such as this, I declined to continue working with this particular doctor. I felt that if I needed any further care from this team, it would be difficult and strenuous. That being said, I am sure the doctor would have done a fine job and if I had been a bit more prepared with the finances, I think everything would have been fine.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
