Very hard getting an appointment with a doctor that I have gone to for 20 years since he sold his practice to Cano Health. Cano Health is not patient friendly and they really don’t care about the health of their patients. We found a new doctor who actually cares and knows what they are doing.
Important Intro: Practicing medicine today tends to be a great challenge. For physicians who take Medicare patients and then accept Medicare assignment, being able to serve the patients’ best interests can be exhausting, and disheartening. So, when looking for an internist, or primary care physician, keep in mind that a physician is a person first. THEN, select the M.D., and staff, who will (a) respect and care about you as a person, (b) treat you with “The Gloves of a Guardian Angel,” and (c) fastidiously follow-up with you, as though his or her life, and reputation, depended on it! Dr. Khan has changed a lot since he sold his highly rated and respected practice in 2019. He has changed even more since he suffered a very severe case of COVID-19 from January through May of 2020. And, like so many COVID survivors, including in the medical profession, he continues to cope with some lingering effects of COVID, as he has acknowledged to a few patients.
Excessively long wait times on every visit.
Love Dr Khan been with him 20+ years
You’re waiting 2 hours before being called into the room and then you sit another 30 minutes before he comes in the toom.
Dr. Khan is an excellent family doctor. Due to insurance changes, I have seen several internists aside from Dr. Khan in the Kissimmee area. I have found Dr. Khan to be the best. If I am doing well, he gives me treatments to see if I can improve my health further, rather than say you're fine and end the appointment. His office may not run super smoothly but what doctor's office does. I am 50 and have been sick all my life and have seen many doctors. Dr. Khan is definitely one of the best.
I have been sick all my life, I am 50. I have seen many doctors and Dr. Khan is one of the best. He not only cares about keeping you well, but also tries to improve your quality of life when you are not ill. I have all confidence in him and his care for me. You can comfortably discuss any condition with him without having to be embarrassed. When it comes to important discussions, he is an excellent communicator and speaking to him is very easy. I often feel lucky that I found a doctor who cares

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
