William Newsome's Online Review Report Card

I warn anyone looking for their long-term health and wellness to not consider Solutions Weight Loss. I went there thinking I was going to have a full medical assessment of my health as well as be provided with a tailored approach to improving my nutritional journey. What I was presented with was a "One Size Fits All" approach with the use of appetite suppressants. I am in recovery from COVID and was in search for some guidance in regards to nutrition in order to help restore my health. Instead I was the subject of very negative and condescending remarks about my weight by Dr. Newsome. I was so taken aback by his lack of professionalism, that I began to question if he was actually a licensed medical professional. Those seeking long-term solutions to their health and weight-management should seek the professional services of licensed dietitians and/or board-certified bariatric doctors.

Horrible experience! Had Cool Sculpting done on my stomach area and upper arms. Dr assured me doing my consult that I was Great candidate. $6000. And NO results. Actually my stomach is worse now! Dr. Never called to follow up. I had to contact them. I should have done my research on his Dr. Had I seen his reviews, I would not have done the procedure with him Can’t sleep over this! Still crying. So very very disappointed.!

Took a long time to see the doctor, but Dr Newsome was well worth the wait. An IU grad, with a great bedside manner

Dr. Newsome is very kind and takes the time to listen to his patients! After dealing with many doctors, this is tough to find in a doctor. He doesn't mind all of my questions and never seems rushed. He also helped my husband to lose weight at Solutions weight Loss, which was a blessing.

I would highly recommend Dr. Newsome as his helpfulness with my condition was relieving as i was very anxious. He has a very open bedside manner and took time to answer all my questions. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well and i didnt have to wait. Great experience!

I totally agree with these other two comments on file. This Dr is very arrogant and bases his decisions on his colleagues say so. He totally ignores your personal feelings and request. I ask for a chaperone which happened to be my daughter and he clearly denied my request. Saying that if I wanted a chaperone that I would have to elect one of his staff. That my daughter would not be allowed. If I can't accept that, then I would have to leave. Even when I pointed out the fact that, right on the wall in any entrance to his examination rooms, it is posted "You have a RIGHT! You may request to have a Patient Chaperone in the exam room while any USHW Doctor, Physician Assistant, Nurse Practitioner,or any other medical provider is examining you." This Dr, although he claims to be a Christian and he looks honest is totally making his decisions on the political red tape and financial stability of the Workmans Comp Laws. I do not recommend this Dr and facility for any body and I assure you, I personnally will never ever enter this place again. I Remain, Sincerely 631...

I was a patient of Dr Newsome a couple of years ago with 2 injuries in different dates and in both ocations misdiagnosed me or not properly given me the necessary care. This 2 injuries were related to work, however when I consulted with my primary physician I was properly diagnosed and when I try to talk with Dr Newsome again about the new diagnosis he would not agreed that it was related with what he had treated me for.I am very disappointed with the way he practice medicine.I want to add one more thing which was not bad he was very corteous.(although has nothing to do with medicine)

Dr Newsome should not be allowed to hold a medical license. He ignores both your concerns and those of other Drs. Rude, arrogant and yet amazingly ignorant at the same time. You come in with orders from a Dr who specializes in your disorder and Dr Newsome tells you that your higher trained, better educated, with specific specialization has no idea what they are saying. I will never go there again. Waited for well over 2 hours. Staff was OK. One lady was nice but I forgot her name. I hope she finds another job somewhere better. Place was old cramped and equipment was old or and broken.

Worst Dr I have ever come accross in my life. Ignores other Dr orders and is arrogant. Thinks all other Drs are wrong and that only he knows what is right for you. According to the Florida Dept of Health he has no hospital privileges at any hospital in the entire state of Florida and that should tell you something. Changes orders in the middle of the interview. Has no medical specialties degrees but acts as if he knows everything. Ignores the patients concerns. First he tells you that everything you did going to the other Drs was the right thing to do. Then he tells you to do the opposite of what they told you to do. I would stay away from this Dr at all costs.
