Albert Davis's Online Review Report Card

Dr Davis is a thoughtful and caring physician. She helped me through the difficult delivery of my first born and the C-section of twins. All of my children are healthy and happy due to her experience and care. I am delighted she continues to see her elderly patients. I love her practicality and dry wit.

Dr. Davis is incredible driven by fear and will do anything including ignore your birth wishes to save her a** from a potential law suit. Don’t expect any hand holding or coaching-she wants to show up within seconds of birth to her her paycheck. Cold, hard BIT** and don’t except anyone else in the practice to have any other philosophy than heads and if they claim to Don’t listen-they all become her heartless followers and do whatever she says.

I went one time and that was enough. I found this woman to be very "cold" and "uncaring" attitude. She may be good in her field, but this is one area that you need to have bedside manner which she did not have.

Dr Davis is an excellent doctor. She is very professional and knowledgable in her field. I would and do recommend her to many people searching for a ob/gyn doctor.

Being new to B'ham Dr. Davis came reccomended to me from a friend I scheduled an appointment in August for an October appointment. I did not realize the traffic would be so horrible also not knowing the area or where the office was located then finding a parking place caused me to be 18 minutes late. I tried to call only to get a recording that calls would not be received untill 9:00. I apologized for my being late and was told Dr. Davis had an open appointment at 9:00 they would just move me to that appointment, only to be told she said she could not see me. I really found this to be very unprofessional and made an appointment with another ob gyn. I found this to be very distrubing for a new person relocating to B'ham. Hope all other physicians are like this one. I certainly would not reccomend to anyone I know.

I've used 3 doctors in this system. The first, who I liked despite her always being in a big hurry, retired. They assigned me to another doctor without asking who I wanted to use. I didn't like that one at all, and requested to be changed to Dr Davis, who I'd heard good things about. The staff resisted but ultimately did allow the change. What a difference! I find Dr Davis to be caring and willing to spend more time with me than either of the other two doctors. I liked her nurse a lot too.

I have been a patient of Dr Davis for 30 years and have had nothing but great things to say about her. She's patient, listens and spends time with you and asks questions. Thank you, Pam Stallings

I've used Dr. Davis since 1985. She has always been pleasant, understanding,knowledgeable and caring. I will say that I have never had children nor any proceedures other than one DNC, so I cannot comment on these matters. She is competent and makes the best use of time while giving me the time to voice my concerns.

I have used Dr. Davis for several years. Here recently though, I have had symptoms that could be related to the Female area. She would not listen to what I was telling her and really acted like she could care less. I went to another Dr. at Brookwood bc my paps had been abnormal and my pap had gotten worse since she did it 2 months ago and she just wanted to follow up in 3mos if I had not changed, it could have been worse and nothing done. The new dr. is going to do a procedure she should have done long ago. If she doesnt care, she needs to retire!

I was disappointed to think that her haste may have cost me my life. It took requesting my medical records to find out what really happen during my surgery. I can't say that I would let her operate again.
