Lacks empathy. Lacks compassion. Lacks kindness. Lacks warmth. Lacks humility. Don't be fooled. I was, initially. I should have paid closer attention to the red flags, including the many positive, well crafted reviews on her webpage. This is my opinion based on my personal experience with Dr. Alice Lee, Holistic Psychiatrist.

I found Dr. Lee when searching for someone to help me get off the antidepressants I was still taking for 8+ years following a severe postpartum depression. She was upfront with all the costs, including the supplements. She explained the methods she was using, including the orthomolecular medicine. It was a perfect fit for me and I loved that she was using a natural and holistic approach. I was gradually able to reduce and then completely stop the medication, while feeling increasingly better. She taught me techniques I can do on my own and still use now. Her approach is aimed at empowering the patient and removingthe causes of the illness, rather than just the symptoms. I am grateful I found her when I did - only wish it was sooner.

I have been to my share of therapists and psychiatrists during the course of my life, and I have found Dr. Lee to be most accessible and extremely competent. of the therapists I have met. Because she has successfully combined holistic medicine with western medicine, Dr. Lee can offer her clients the best of both worlds, and can meet them wherever they are. She is more closely aligned with my personal cosmology than any medical doctor I have known. I look forward to growing with her in the future.
