So far impressed with the initial visit. Dr Makani took time to exam the knee and answered any questions I had without feeling rushed. The front desk was helpful while checking in.

Dr. Makani is a great doctor who is very patient and gave me all the time I needed in his office. I have a SLAP tear, which Dr. Makani thought I had and diagnosed it before the MRI even confirmed it. Dr. Makani recommended Physical Therapy instead of pushing surgery. It’s been about 7 months and I am now fully back in the gym without pain thanks to PT and Dr. Makani. Thank you Dr. Makani!

Not impressed. Dismissed my knee pain as arthritis. Went to another specialist. Took time with me and determined it was a problem with my patella which was causing severe pain. Will be scoped to rectify issue.

Dr. Makani and the Ascend staff were so professional and helpful from the first phone call, to the check out. Actually looking forward to my follow up appointment! Highly recommend. 👍👍

Dr Maconi is very thorough and listens to your concerns. He did rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder in 2016 and I was so impressed with him that when I injured my shoulder I looked him up and made the trip to Saint Pete.

I highly recommend Dr Makani and his staff for their exceptional care. I had broken my ankle so I called on a Tuesday and they were able to get me in the next day.

Dr Makina did total knee replacement on me October 27, 2022. This doctor is so kind and caring and if I could I would rate him 10. His staff also are wonderful and very courteous and caring. I was very happy with the results of my knee surgery. The scar is hardly visible unless you look real hard.Also Dr Makina takes his time with you and he answers all your concerns and questions
