List of Brandon Rodriguez's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr. Rodriguez for the past 4 months since my surgery on my right eye. After surgery plus different procedures I am still legally blind by FL driving standards. The Doctor has not given up hope and I have another appointment scheduled early September. Hopefully we can schedule laser surgery for astigmatism and that this will fix the problem. He is an excellent doctor with a challenging patient. He takes the time to discuss treatments in layman terms. Thank you.
He seems to be a very competent surgeon based on my family’s experience. Very professional approach.
I'm a Chaplain and, in all honesty, I'm not the easiest patient. Having made a couple of mistakes selecting physicians in the past, I didn't want to trust my eyesight to just anyone, especially having a complication with pseudo-exfoliation glaucoma. When you read Dr. Rodriguez's background, you're immediately impressed. When you meet him in person, you're even more impressed. Dr. Rodriguez did both of my eyes (cataract surgery) within the last month. Trusting him with my vision was the best medical decision I've made in the last 25 years. The surgery was quick, painless, and with a clear plan for follow-up to ensure no complications. From check-in, to pre-op, to post-op, the staff was great. And of course, being a Chaplain, it was especially meaningful that on both surgery days, the technician in the pre-op room offered to pray with me before surgery. Thank you to Dr. Rodriguez and all of the staff at St. Luke's. I could never imagine going anywhere else for eye care.
This group has an interesting way of dealing with their patients. I have been waiting 3 1/2 weeks for my eye drops then when I received the prescription today it has the wrong eye listed for drops. They keep giving you the run araoind and the doctor refuses to contact the patients. They act as if their assistant can get the job done when I have been waiting for the eye drops for over 3 1/2 weeks they then tell me to come in to get another dr visit fee when they still haven’t helped me with the last one. It’s the original principle. I have had the same issue for the last year and these doctors can’t figure out resolution except to wait with trial and error of medicine that are outrageously expensive then when asked to get a medication that’s covered under insurance then guess what they don’t try. The medication they perscribed was $825 however the distribution stated to my pharmacist that they are out of stock and may be discontinued. I spoke with office manager names Ashley whom did not listen to anything I said about prescription issues then the assistant Ashley (the same name) just kept repeating herself. None of these people listen to the issue at hand. If you go into the office and wait all the receptionist do is talk the whole time, who is actually working at this location? Meanwhile us the patients are not getting the care we are paying for this is ridiculous. Who to call next the BBB? How about the insurance companies since I feel like they’re milking every dime!!!! Oh they also said I needed a treatment that over $800 that may or may not work but it’s necessary for my condition. Why promote all these treatments that people can not afford and may not work. I’m just saying before you decide to go to this location Read how they treated me. It is very unpleasant perhaps they’re use to the elderly where they just do as they say then drain their pockets. The way they handled this for the last month has been the worst customer service I have ever received from a medical team
Had worrisome expectations of what the outcome would be, but Dr. Rodriguez calmed me by what his findings were.
I had cataract surgery on both my eyes this past March, 2021, by Dr. Rodriguez. He is a dedicated surgeon who truly cares about his patients. My surgery results have given me a new prospective of what sight one can have with a truly gifted surgeon. I highly recommend Dr. Rodriguez to anyone seeking cataract or refractive surgery.
He & staff were good explaining everything to me.
I have never been so amazed at the exceptional care of Dr. Rodriguez and his remarkable surgery staff. From the screeners outside to the very last minute at St. Lukes, I was treated so well and have never encountered anything before like this entire procedure, in my lifetime!
My spouse had cataract surgery. Everything seemed to go well but in the last 4-5 months my spouse had begun to have deteriorating vision. We scheduled an appointment with this office because staff said that my spouse could be in the room to ask questions. After rearranging my schedule we both went. Once we arrived they then changed their story and said I could not be in the appointment. No servings person to ask questions to help safe guard my loved one. Very disappointing. If I could do it all over I would choose another provider.
Very professional. Lots of covid protections in place. Staff and eye dr were super.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
