Wanted to have a patient in excruciating pain LEAVE THE HOSPITAL and instead make an appointment at his office so he could use his own procedure room to do whatever it was he thought he was going to do. Patient refused, waited to see a different vascular surgeon who then determined this patient had been blown off, getting run around excuses and ended up have to have HALF OF HIS LEG AMPUTATED due to the negligence of so many Dr.s over months of time. God only knows what would have happened to him in Almonds personal surgicenter....probably would have died....stay away from Drs that have their own greedy financial agendas....which is vast in Florida. Smh....

All my research and looked like this was the best Dr. for the Job! and Dr Brett Almond and staff exceeded my expectations. I had over 80% blockage in my right Carotid Artery. Had surgery yesterday 12-30-2021. All went great, he got it all out and told my wife it was hard and took a while. I'm home now the next day feel great and relieved. My wife and I will celebrate New Year's and also would like to formally Thank Dr. Almond and all the Nurses and staff and wish them all a Great and Happy New Year! Really Nice Professional folks at St. Anthony's Hospital. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU

I waited over 90 minutes past my appointment time but never saw the physician. I've been referred here before for a different issue/different surgeon, same experience. Staff is rude, office is disorganized (both times they "lost" my referral from my pcp, and I had to follow up myself). Staff confirms this is status quo for the practice. Expect to wait all day to see a provider due to bad management and lack of respect for patients.

Dr Almond was alright but as far as office and setting appointments it is terrible and also they try and get every cent from you that they can with as many appointments as possible. I don't have much money and told then this and they tried to set me up with 2 separate tests on different days so they could charge me with 2 office visits. The same person was even giving the tests. They told me I can not have the 2 test at same time because insurance doesn't cover it. Well I got off of phone with them and called my insurance company and just like I thought it was not true . I am o longer going to go to them. Not going to an office who just want money and doesn't have any care for the people they see. STAY AWAY

Second time I've been referred to Bay Surgical, both times same experience. Staff is rude, medical assistants don't have any medical knowledge- not even how to take a bp properly. Waited an hour and a half past appointment time and never saw the provider so I walked out. Didn't reschedule since the office staff said "that's just how it is - you're going to wait and wait each and every appointment regardless". Stay away if you have any reasonable expectations.

Read other reviews about Mr. Almond and they were right very arrogant. I felt rushed like cattle. I answered my own questions. The med asst. was worse no personality. This is one guy that I would not let operate on me. Guess were on another search for a more professional surgeon...

Dr. Almond is an accomplished and excellent surgeon. He is somewhat arrogant and accommodates himself over his patients. The wait time is ridiculous. There is no respect for a patient’s time.

Dr. Almond what a wonderful doctor very caring, he did an excellent job performing surgery on my father , your office staff is excellent as well. I highly recommend DR.Almond .

Excessive wait time! Then the doctor come in with an attitude needs to brush up on his bedside manner. Would not recommend to anybody.
