Brett Bolhofner's Online Review Report Card

I had a wonderful experienced as Dr. Bolhofner’s patient. he was kind, responsive and more proficient with his anterior hip replacement technique than I had been led to believe by anyone who has had experience with him. Beyond that, his ancillary staff is extensive and manages all aspects of the care before and after the procedure. I was amazed at how comprehensive it all was and how I felt “completely in the loop” and looked after at all times during the process. Be aware that there might be a long wait to get an initial appointment and the wait to get a surgical date because he is in such demand. I understand that is because he is one person with LOTS of patients who choose him, while there are only 24 hours in a day. But I can say that he was completely worth the wait.

Dr B saved my life. Not only is he a fabulous surgeon he is a great man and I'm elated our paths have crosses even though they were not the best of situations. Dr B worked on my ankle when another surgeon said it was a waste of time, he's worked on my knee, my pelvis and my hip. My pelvis was reconstructed, total hip, total knee and a fused ankle. Maybe things have changed since he's been working forever. That takes a toll on his hands and arms. We adapt, adjust and overcome. I'm thankful for Dr B.

Dr. Bolhofner put me back together after breaking nearly every bone in my body. Other surgeons told me I’d never walk again but Dr. Bolhofner never wavered. I’m eternally grateful

One year ago Dr. Bolhofner did my hip replacement on the right hip. The surgery went smoothly without complications or any pains. After 20 days I was able to start swimming once again and after 30 days I was able to start cycling. Currently I feel perfect , I cycle and swim daily for one hour each without any problems. Twice per week I play tennis without any problems. I even forgot I had a hip replacement. Thank you Dr. Bolhofner, you are great.

That staff was very kind and sweet, but they wasted my time. It days on his website he does arthroscopic surgery and when I called they said yes to that. I get there and he barely moved my leg an inch for an exam. Saw it was painful. Told me I was too young to be his patient and he only does hip replacements. My hour and half was wasted along with the 3 weeks I had to wait and money spent. I left not being and to walk and told to see a surgeon that does arthroscopic over in Tampa. Please tell me when you have right funds and can barely walk, how do I get to Tampa when I live here. I can't even pick my child up from school. Unless you're older and need a easy hip replacement, he's a waste of time.

Dr Bolhofner is quite professional as well as personable. He has a terrific bedside manner, but does not pull any punches. He will be straight forward with you and help you to make informed decisions about your condition. Dr Bolhofner did a right THR for me in July 2019 and I am getting ready to have him do a left THR later this month. My replacements are a little more complicated and, when asked, Dr. B said he would be glad to do mine. He will also be doing my knee later in the year. I cannot say enough about Dr B. If you have the opportunity to have him preform your surgery, by all means, let him do it!

Doctor Brett Bolhofner is an excellent caring surgeon. He did a total left hip replacement on me in April of 2019. I spent two nights at the hospital because I would get light headed when I stood up. I was able to stand a few hours after the surgery and take a few stops with a Physical Therapist keeping an eye on me. The afternoon of the next day I was able to stand and walk on my own. I needed no pain pills after day five. Six weeks later I was back at the gym and all is going well thanks to the Doctors care.

Dr. Bolhofner and Paul are the most professional and skilled and caring men I have met. I feel blessed to have found them and that they agreed to work with me.

Dr Bolhofner is a gifted and skilled surgeon with years of experience. I heard that his techniques are so cutting edge that they call him “Wizard of the West”, as his practice resides on the west coast of Florida. He did surgery for me and there is no scarring, recovery time was so fast, and his attention to patients is impeccable. He is simply the best!

Excellent Service. I was a patient of his Years ago...…. HE SAVED MY LIFE and he SAVED my left leg!! This man is Wonderful!!! Its nice to see a doctor who really cares about the LONG term effects of his young patients. Thank you Doc. I have a left Leg & I have a Life Thanks to you and your staff.
