The best primary care physician I have ever had - no exaggeration. She treats you like family. It's so obvious that she actually cares about her patients' wellbeing - she remembers to check on me personally better than I remember to check in with her after our appointments. Even if I haven't seen her in a long time, she remembers the specific details of my life and health situation whenever I come in for an appointment, and spends time catching up with me, which makes me feel at ease, not rushed, and with someone who cares!I've never felt so listened to or so cared about by a doctor - I'm a young woman, and like others my age, I have often struggled to find doctors who can treat me without any accompanying judgement (or just plain ignorance). That's the real reason she is a gem. Dr. Avila is seriously a dream doctor. I can't recommend her enough.

Great experience with Dr Avila and the office is very nice

Dr. Avila is a hands down the best primary care physician I have ever worked with. She listens to ever concern, every symptom, every detail that her patients give her; we feel heard. If you’ve ever dealt with mental health issues or chronic illnesses, you will understand how valuable that is. You can feel her authenticity and compassion in every decision she makes. I am so grateful she chose this career path; we need more physicians like her in this world. She is a true gem.

Patient care low priority over ordering high profit tests. Used out-of-network independent labs for pathology so that my insurance will not cover even though my insurance would have covered with Quest or Labcorps. 7 months to find out that the pathology lab work was not covered by insurance because of untimely billing; now between untimely billing and out-of-network it is difficult to appeal. Did not review new patient information that was done online (per the offices request) prior to meeting for the first time. So, when explaining everything that was input online she mentioned that now she had "taken more time than was allotted" for my appointment already. Never mentioned that a pre-certification was needed to remove a painful skin tag before removal. Belittling toward patient pain. She wanted to allow the painful tag to remain another 5 weeks for next appointment and to schedule a pap smear instead. Then when removing the tag on my back she said *paraphrase* oh, its deeper than I thought, no wonder you said it was painful and was difficult to sleep*. Insurance office said that 9/10 times it is a doctor that does the pre-qualification and was never even mentioned. By the time my appointment came around, Dr. Avilla's office still had not sent over my charts ( 6 weeks) to my new doctor so I had to reschedule my appointment. Disappointing because on paper she looks highly qualified and took time to chooses a physician. Don't take the chance. Find someone else. And now noticing that every time there is a one or two star review someone gives a 5-star. That is curious.

I was diagnosed via a sleep study with severe sleep apnea. I was then told to schedule a follow up to review the results. Dr. Camila Avila was supposed to send the order for a CPAP machine on January 10th, 2020. She then claimed that she would follow up with her coordinator for a status update. She never did.After waiting a week for it to be shipped to my house, i decide to call the office for an update. They then tell me that they use a third party service to order these machines, and that they sent them the order. They never told me this before. So I call their third party service (Apria Healthcare), and they tell me that Dr. Avila's administrators never sent the records for my sleep study!It has been a month that I have been waiting for my CPAP machine, and this organization has the worst communication skills that I have ever seen. They could care less that I am choking in my sleep.I'll never be returning to this doctor's office again. I'm extremely dissappointed.
