Dr. Shorter was very kind and attentive. Thankfully my neck problems did not require his expertise meaning surgery however he was able to steer me in the right direction for what I needed.

I had suffered with excruciating pain in my back and left side for 6 months. I'd been to two other doctors, had 2 different diagnosis, been put in to physical therapy without any MRI or x-rays, had 5 cortisone shots, and an epidural. Finally, I ended up in the hospital when my left leg collapsed under me. At the hospital I had an MRI after I was admitted through emergency. Luckily for me, Dr. Shorter was the doctor on staff who read my MRI, and immediately knew what the problem was. I had bone fragments in my spine, rubbing against the nerves, causing all my pain. He did surgery 2 days later, and within a couple days I was walking with a walker and am improving daily. Dr. Shorter is a great neurosurgeon. His bedside manner is the best I've ever experienced. He was absolutely confident he knew what the problem was, and that he could fix it. After 6 months of living with this, I am finally getting my life back Thank you so much, Dr. Shorter.

I had a fall, and consequently fractured and compressed a lower vertebre. Doctor Shorter recognized the urgency to see me, and immediately offered a solution to remedy the pain and correct the depression. I agreed to the procedure performed by Dr Shorter. He and his professional staff completed the operation within days. I walked in with major pain and walked out of the surgery center in hours with substantially less pain. Dr. Cedric Shorter is definitely the right guy for the job. He has amazing skills. Back surgery is rough no matter who does it ,. But it's so much better after you heal and are able to live again . Thank you Dr. Shorter. You are a awesome person.

My Mother needed to wait 6 weeks for her appointment. 2 Weeks before her appointment I called to verify her insurance. I was told they took her insurance. We arrived the day of the appointment being told they do not accept the insurance. To add harm to the experience a business office worker was working and walking around without a mask! Shame on you!!

I contacted Dr. Shorter after a surgery referral from my endocrinologist. He took the time to explain the process and discuss his experience performing this surgery. As an added bonus, he has a wonderful personality which put me at ease, and helped me make the decision to have him perform my surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Shorter.

Dr. Shorter is one of the best neurospine surgeons I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. He is very caring, compassionate, and understands how to treat the patient, not just a list of symptoms.

I met with Dr. Shorter to find out options for my issue, his bedside manner is outstanding!! He listened, reviewed my MRI with me, I did not feel rushed. Thankfully I do not need surgery, but if I ever do, I would trust him completely. He was very knowledgeable about my condition. I highly recommend Dr. Shorter!
