Dr Carter has helped me over the years. I trust her judgment and recommendation over any one I’ve had as a primary. She is not one to push medication’s, but to change lifestyle and supplements to stay healthy. I just recommended a dear friend to her and I moved to Tampa and I am going to contact her again Because of her expertise, knowledge and kindness.. I don’t mind traveling to see the best doctor I’ve known in over 20 years.. many thanks to her and wonderful staff members that work perfect as a team

Dr. Carter's office is a pleasure to go to. Her office staff is always so caring and sweet. I truly enjoy talking to the nurses before seeing Dr. Carter. She always listens to my concerns and takes some kind of action in the right direction. Her knowledge is really admirable and I wouldn't go to anyone else! Thank you Dr. Carter and Staff!

Each time I have a visit with Dr. Carter, she makes me feel like I am her only patient. She walks into the exam room with a smile on her face as though she is truly happy to see me. The wait times in the waiting room are short although she does not seem to rush through my appointment.

New to town. Called United Healthcare for physician accepting new patients. Given her info called for an appointment given date of October 26 at 1030a. However receptionist asked my DOB and immediately said that Dr. Carter does not see patients 70 and older. Referred me to Dr. Nguyen. Called United Healthcare and informed them of what happened and representative was not aware of an age discrimination; nor is that indicated on Dr. Carter's website. Kept me on the line while she verified with Dr. Carter what I had stated. Made appointment for me with another physician that does not discriminate due to a patients age. Would never recommend anyone to go to Dr. Charmaine Carter's office. I Johnson September 21, 2017

Doctor is great! Staff however is rude and it's impossible to get an appointment. I spoke with two different staff to book an appointment, both mumbled their names and when asked to repeat mumbled again. It's a shame the doctor puts up with this from her staff..what does the rudeness of her staff say about her.

I think Dr. Carter is the best physician I have ever encountered. She listens and pays close attention to everything you say. Her office runs very efficiently and the wait times are minimal. Her office staff is very couteous and very prompt. I can always get same day appointments when I am ill. She is by far the best.
