After many consultations with different surgeons, Dr. Newman actually was the first to listen to me to what I wanted, not as the other surgeons told me I wanted. I have had many procedures done with Dr. Newman and consider him my surgeon always. Whether it is fillers and botox or full breast reconstruction, he has never rushed me in my decision and answered all my questions. If there were any questions or issues after surgery, Dr. Newman responded IMMEDIATELY with in 60 seconds! Who does that? Rose is so calming and sweet. It is important to have a familiar face each time you go and when getting ready for surgery. She is so kind. Jen always got back to me quickly with any questions I had, even when I thought I was being bothersome, she never ever had any negative energy toward me. Thank you team for all that you have done and things we have planned for the future!.

Dr. Newman, and his staff are fabulous! I went ONLY to them when I lived in the St Pete area. I was treated more like a family member than a patient, whilst still receiving an unmatched level of professionalism and skill! #youllbesohappyyoudid

The doctor is amazing and you do feel like family. The staff is also right up there with a five star rating, always very professional and friendly.

Dr. Newman and his staff are one of a kind! You are treated like family as soon as you walk through the door. They take their time, listen to your wants and carefully explain in detail to ensure all of your questions are answered- leaving you feeling important, cared for and comfortable. They go above and beyond to set their self apart from other offices. Dr. Newman is not only a fantastic plastic surgeon, he is also extremely knowledgeable in several different realms of medicine as he achieved a doctorate of osteopathy, so he is passionate on placing emphasis on preventative care and getting to the root of your issues. Don't waste your time! Enept and unprofessional office staff. The doctor seemed very capable in my consultation, but his staff wasted three months of my time. My insurance asked for additional information and then waited 6 weeks with no response before finally denying my procedure. I called many times and never got a single return phone call. In my last attempt I requested that Dr. Newman call me, and also never received any return call. Don't waste your time here.

Dr Newman was pretty patient with me and answered all my questions and did seem knowledgeable. In the consult he did ensure he answered all my questions. I ended up getting two to three vials of filler (maybe a thousand or fifteen hundred, not a small amout) a couple months later. When I was done I looked a bit more chipmunk'ee then id hope. He told me this was normal, it was a bit swollen and would go away. I went to my car and started to freak out a bit. I went inside to ask a couple more questions, basically " what he could if it did in fact not get better (Radiesse is permanent and cant be reversed, otherwise i would NOT have been as anxious). (Ill stop here to say I am a bit needier than the average person and ask a lottttt of questions). He was in with his next patient so I waited for him to get done. Rather then take me back to a room for a minute he asked how he could help me; we talked at the front desk. When i asked him what we could do if it didnt get better he patronizingly answered and said (approximately)" ive already spent time telling you this, it will go away, theres nothing else we could do right now". I felt embarrased, angry, and now more anxious. Rather than being empathetic and understanding he somewhat scolded me for coming back inside to ask him a question. Granted he was fairly patient up to that point; he apparently was "over it". I would never go back to him and would not reccomend him. If you are looking for a super compassionate and empathetic doctor i'd say look elsewhere. Technique and skill is verry important but so is good bedside manner. You probably wont have the same experience but just putting my experience here. Update: ** I came back to add a response now that the doctor has responded ** Spending 1.5 to 2 hours educating me (before I spent what for me is a lot of money) is no excuse to be rude, unprofessional and dismissive. I was thinking I was going to look like a chipmunk (a fear that I am sure many who get filler can relate to); instead I got “shoo’ed away”. Now, once again in your response to my review you are being rude, unprofessional and dismissive. If you are the type that may need a extra bit of reassurance from the doctor post procedure then look elsewhere.

Dr Newman and his staff (Rose and Jen) are all so knowledgeable, kind and compassionate. They take their time in there respective areas to make sure you feel completely comfortable and confident in whatever decision you make. Initially I was a little scared at the thought of going through surgery, but Dr Newman completely put my mind at ease with his level of expertise. He took whatever time needed to answer any and every question I had prior to making this decision. He is just as helpful and knowledgeable post-surgery as well, and made sure I took the appropriate time to fully recover and go on to live a happy and healthy life.
